My youngest son inexplicably likes the Toronto Blue Jays for some reason. I think he just enjoys the name.
So do these swingers parties actually involve a lot of young attractive people or is it mainly mediocre older couples sick of banging each other?
I've always been on #TeamDon'tTest, because I like HRs compared to boring baseball, but they're also on pace for record Ks. This time it probably has more to do with the approach hitters are taking (all or nothing) rather than roids.
Then again, Aaron Judge slugged just .489 last year in the minors and .345 in 27 games in MLB., and all of a sudden he's the second coming of Babe Ruth? Hmm...

Went to a game at the minor league stadium in Charleston last night. I ate a hot dog with crawfish and creole sauce on it and drank some crafties. The home team blew a 4 run lead in the 9th to lose 5-4. It was fun. And that's MaxPowerrr with sports, now on to the rest of you for weather...

-Great memory, Bonzo. Unfortunately, our college buddy crew (8 to 12 guys) stalled out after 13 years. Last trip was to PIT in 2008, when last-minute cancellations left us with 6, and after that, it died. I blame the recession. And life / kids for some, although that never stopped some of us. PNC Park is a great stadium, one of the best.
I have 9 or 10 parks left, nearly all are Central Division - that was the weakness in the longevity of our guys' trip - we cherry-picked all of the East Coast and West Coast first, and after that, nobody cared. We did mix in Texas, Pittsburgh and Cleveland, but were left with too many parks (Houston, KC, Detroit, Milwaukee, ChiSox, etc.) that nobody cared enough about going to.
I will say, Comerica park is pretty nice. Got Greektown, Casinos, bunch of bars around the stadium...Michigan in the summer is dope.
In all seriousness, Brewers games were pretty fun. Tons of tailgaters every game, cool stadium, decent crowds and quite affordable. If you go in the summer, there's a different festival every weekend and they're great chances to see all of the pasty white fatties of Wisconsin downing beers and cheese curds (truest stereotype there is). If you're taking kids, they actually have a really good zoo in town and have several events where there is beer and food all around the zoo.
But don't ever go there in the winter or the beginning of baseball season (which is still winter there).

Here's my Baseball Top 10 of Parks I've visited (still active)...
1. AT&T Park - San Francisco - Just everything about this place is perfect. It is very expensive, but that's pretty much par for the course in San Francisco. Not a bad seat in the house. The views and setting are amazing. The food is great. The Giants have put a ton of money in that place, and you feel it once you walk in the gates. The Coke Bottle and Giant glove are kind of hokey, but kind of cool at the same time. That bay setting tho...
2. PNC Park - Pittsburgh - Again, pretty much the perfect setting for baseball. Baseball against the Waterfront is a good thing, especially when Home Run balls can land in the water. Not a bad seat in the house. Good food choices. Lots of stuff to do outside the stadium. Walking across the bridges is fun. Top notch.
3/4. Wrigley Field and Fenway Park - Chicago and Boston - I can't separate the 2 parks. They are both old, and both incredible. Yes, the seats are tight, there is little to no legroom, not enough bathrooms, obstructed views...but that's part of the fun. You just feel baseball when you walk in, and you could be watching a game in the 40s/60s/80s/whenever. Tons to do outside the stadium. Love both.
5. Camden Yards - Baltimore - First of the nostalgia retro modern parks. Cool setting against the warehouse. Not a bad seat in the house, though it seems bigger than AT&T and PNC, which knocks it down a few notches. Plus, Orioles fans are weird so that knocks it down a few notches as well.
6. Dodger Stadium - Los Angeles - It's a massive stadium, and definitely retro. There are tons of bad seats. But this is the Dodgers...in Los Angeles. Big time baseball, in a big time setting. The views kick ***. Dodger dogs are dope. Chavez Ravine is dope. Dodgers are usually competitive.
7. Busch Stadium the 3rd - St. Louis
8. Comerica Park - Detroit
9. Petco Park - San Diego
10. Jacobs Field - Cleveland
Sorry Reds, you don't make the list. Great American Ballpark is a decent place to watch a game, but there is so much concrete...just kind of bland. And the upstairs seats are pretty high compared to the upper levels at other new parks. Reds swung and missed with the new place. Oh well.

I honestly don't care how GABP ranks against the classics because its 100x better than that ******** Riverfront I grew up watching games in. Makes GABP seem amazing to me.
They really should have put the yard in OTR where the casino is now. Readymade neighborhood, looking out into the skyline and Mt. Auburn, with Mt. Adams in the background. Of course, that cripples the riverfront, but it would have been awesome.

I have been to Wrigley...in the cold November rain (courtesy of 9/11 happening two days before Dad and I were to head up for a Reds/Cubs game- he won tickets and free flight).
Been in Fenway when they weren't playing. Drank in the neighborhood right outside Petco. Drank in some bars in Commerica after the Basketbowl in Dec.'03. Drank a bit down from AT&T last year- which looked awesome.

Agree with 73. SF is at the top of my list. Something magical about that place and the way it overlooks the bay.
I think it's hard to compare old/new so I always just say AT&T is the best of the new and Wrigley / Fenway the best of the old. Didn't like Fenway when I first went in 2000 (too crowded, small) but went back in 2011 and renovations and wider / normal sized concourses made a huge difference.
Coors in Denver was up there when I first went in 1998 but went back 3 years ago and found it to be kind of janky. But the views of the Rockies are pretty awesome.
Also agree with chad on GABP. It's not Riverfront so that makes it a 100% upgrade. Not the best of the best, but it doesn't have to be. Nothing spectacular, nice little park with some character.

GABP is fine. Great views to watch a baseball game. A lot of bar/food options in the actual ball park itself. A lot of kids friendly areas, including a park, wiffleball field and games. Plus the Reds Museum is pretty cool.
There are better bells and whistles at other ball parks, but GABP is pretty nice.
