My brother in law has 20+ tattoos (including "Thug Life" on his chest), works a blue collar gig at an oil refinery (which he enjoys, which is most baffling that there are people that like their job), and probably makes $20k+ more than me when you factor in OT.

So i'm pretty much done questioning anyone else's appearance as I sit at my desk in shirt and tie and continue to make student loan payments and look for adjunct gigs so I can make a little extra walking around money.

Tats? Check
Facial Hair? Check
Shoes/Clothes not approved by frat boys? Check
Good job? Check
Decent Life? Check

To each their own, I guess.

Look, as much as I hate you, your tats and your body, you and your ilk are not who I am talking about here. I am perfectly fine with those who have a different style than myself. I am not talking about a bicep tat or a sleeve from some hip millennial or something basic. I am talking about how common these ungodly messes you see everywhere nowadays. The line isn't a fine one. It's a mile between your tats and what I am talking about here.

Everybody in this thread has "their" tattoo idea in the back of their mind. Spill it.

I always wanted a grayscale light bulb, but knew I wasn't cool enough to pull it off. Something like (but better) this:

Throw on a NFL jersey, Nike shox and cargo shorts & we're talking the quentessential Cincy bro.

Speaking of which, love seeing a seemingly normal, well-adjusted Louisville fan rocking some absurd old english "L" gear. Cracks me up everytime.

Think you'll try Indiana now that the bloom is clearly off the rose that is southern Ohio, Chad?

Cincinnati is getting better every day. Sure, we have our Big City issues, but that is par for the course. I was born in Cincinnati, worked for 14 years in Cincinnati and will be getting married in Cincinnati. Proud of my connections to the town. That said, I am a Kentuckian first and foremost, and I have never once claimed any differently when asked where I'm from.

On a Beatles kick- favorite songs? I'll go "Penny Lane" and "A Day in the Life" a solid 1-2.
Across the Universe
All You Need is Love
Strawberry Fields
Penny Lane
A Day in the Life

Top 5

So are we supposed to be getting a whoregate verdict anytime soon to pile on?

Isn't Shai Alexander pronounced Shay? Disappointing if so.

Actually had lunch at Lachey's while in Cincy for a cousin's wedding last winter. Cool spot.

Had a great burger, some solid crafties and enjoyed watching the UK vs S Carolina game there when Cal went apeshit on that referee and got run.

Took my kids to what is essentially a massive all-ages BIG TIME YOUTH PICKUP SOCCER game in Lexington last night. It was hilarious watching my oldest and his friends (who are around 9-10 years old) getting shoved around and bodied up by girls a couple of years older than them. They all had this look of, "This is weird/Why are they so rough?/I think I kind of like this?"

On a related note, Soccer Mom for the win. Shew. Wee

I can say I ever really wanted a tattoo. I did almost get a tongue ring to match my girlfriends my sophomore year at UK at her request, but thank god we broke up before I followed through with it. Maaaaan would that have been gay.

I agree that KD has stolen from LeBron. This whole super team thing sucks and makes the NBA less credible. I agree they can do as they please but it's stupid to watch an all-star team vs. the rest of the league, mainly LeBron.

The Beatles are my favorite band of all time. Ticket to Ride is my #1. That's when the true transition from teeny boppers to immortal legends took place.

The Old English L's in Lachey's kind of threw me off but I was surprised to see a decent amount of Cats fans in the joint.

I thought OTR was cool. Walked around and checked out some of the breweries and tap rooms. My cousin was married in this old church that was converted into a reception facility. After the wedding we all walked down to the casino. I was pleasantly surprised how nice the casino was. Played some blackjack & listened to this decent band play.

All and all I had good experience in Cincy.

A picture of a baseball field, a basketball court or a football field, followed by "Today's view from the office!" ----> [sick]

Sportswriters are nothing if not original.

Louisville having a pitcher with a bleached mohawk and a 2B with long stringy white dreads is amazing.

Oh, the bleached mohawk looks like a team thing. It's the gift that keeps giving.

Can a college baseball explain why we started a freshman that Louisville has already seen twice and gave up 7 ER's to instead of one of our weekend starters?

Maybe they thought he would be less intimidated by their lineup and the environment since he'd seen them before?
