Lulz at that Indians fan (assume it was a friend of Llama's) getting smacked by Votto. Votto's playing really well right now which made that whole encounter really weird.

Even if I had friends, they wouldn't be able to afford those seats.

November: "Man they look pretty good, these young CATS get it!"
December: "Well they just need to get some more games under their belt and also Camp Cal"
January: "Can't believe we lost to Vandy"
February: "Cal is a loser. Put that on your podcast you stupid *****. Diallo is a thug this team has no leadership they need a Ulis type"
March: "Man i knew we had better athletes this whole time- just needed for it all to come together. They are 'close'. Love Diallo's game.
April: 9.

Oh, and sometime while behind by double digits to an SEC West team in February, someone will remember that Jemarl Baker hit a couple threes in an early January game, got pulled when he let a dude bank in a 3 up 25, hasn't played since, and might, just might, be worth taking a chance on this game bacause what the hell.

2017-18 feels like one of those years where everybody's going to suck and we probably just shouldn't even play the season.

Growing up the in the 80's & 90's it seemed like the SEC was the most athletic conference in the country. Maybe not the most skilled but it definitely had some incredible athletes. Seems like it's getting back to that but these coaches all want to coach a mud wrestling on hardwood style of play.

I mean, I'll probably exit my super secret text thread, too.

I can't handle the knee jerk comments from Bonzo in his early 20th century prose putting a 1st weekend ceiling on the team after an egg at UTK. Not interested in that ****, beefcake.

Alabama's coach apparently tried to revoke scholarships of about 1/3 of his players yesterday before being told you can't actually do that. Should make for some awkward times for those guys, now having to play for a guy who just tried to put them out on the curb.
They just fired him. After one year.

Let the record show that Greg Goff was the guy I wanted Kentucky to hire instead of Nick Mingione, I liked the Billy Gillispie hire, I liked the Knicks signing Derrick Rose and I peaked as a human being at age 14.

Virginia Tech at Rupp is a NICE non-conference tilt.

Love Buzz Williams. And he's got a solid squad coming back, plus a possible grad transfer or two.

SAE will be really excited about this, probably ordering tickets right now. -- dude is D-U-N with marquee mega matchups in neutral/travel locations.

Part of SAE's take was something along the lines of ... "This should be a game that all Kentuckians can enjoy."

Fairly certain it's easier for Billy Joe Wildcat to get tickets to these neutral setting made for TV games plus judging by the sounds of it on tv that crowd in Vegas was well oiled and rowdy. Not to mention the Rupp crowd is getting worse and worse, even for the big games. This is in part due to the average median age of the lower level season ticket holder is probably now 65 or so and there's a giant sense of entitlement with the lower level bowl due to the crazy success Cal had in the first 6 years.

Currently watching the Bat Cats (no offense intended) in the 2017 SEC Baseball Tournament and they just went up 6-2 in the 6th.

Stay tuned for additional updates.

There's a Harrahs Hotel & Casino 1.4 miles from the stadium in Omaha - that trip would be an even wodier sports bucket list cross-off than I originally thought.

At this point, I like the cut of Diallo's procrastinating *** jib.

Marcus wait until the literal last minute at this point.

Yep.

Omaha during the CWS is incredible...and yeah, you have several casinos right across the river. Sneaky fun city.

Also of note...close to the Harrah's is a bar called "The O-Face"...the only bar Jon Taffer ever walked off saving on Bar Rescue. It is truly a the worst bar in the country, a must visit.

At this point I expect him to announce he plans to return to Kentucky, but doesn't want to hurt his draft stock so he's going to continue to sit out and lift weights. Cal will rave about how much better his defense in practice will make Quade Green and Jemarl Baker.
Dammit you're right
