Wrong. We've got all of our focus on building a new state of the art soccer stadium that will host a team made up of the equivalent of NAIA talent but hey it's really cool to dress up like backdrops in Braveheart and march down the street before matches.

I had the same rant, almost word for word, after the weird ***, drum beating, paint covered fans of a "professional" team booed a 19-year-old amateur for laying on the ground after a grown-*** man body-checked him hard enough to warrant a red card (in an exhibition, in which they were tied with a mid-tier college team for a good portion of the time).

The NBA and College Basketball basically traded places with where they were in the 90's which is sad. I could never see myself pouring every fiber of my being into an NBA squad like I do the Cats tho. If college ever cleaned it up like the NBA did the more talented teams (aka Kentucky) would have an even bigger advantage then they do now which I'm assuming is the reason why its still such a hot mess. A lot of resistance there.

Guardians of the Galaxy (which is very good btw) has got me on an Electric Light Orchestra kick. You can't go wrong with Jeff Lynne and ELO. Good to see they finally got into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

-Here's when college basketball is watchable(outside the tournament, of course): Holiday season title games(like IU/KU last year), Low- and mid-major conference tournament title games, CBS Saturday afternoon non-conference games, ESPN Saturday night games. Outside of that criteria, it's 50/50 whether it will be an enjoyable experience(20/80 if it's a Big Ten regular season game).

-"Moana" really is very good, and extends a string of high-quality Disney animated films. Their strong run seemingly coincided with the slow decline of Pixar films(outside of "Inside Out"), when everyone in the industry assumed that the opposite would be the trend going forward.

-Two months until this California trip. Hotels booked, itineraries sketched out, all that's left to do is book the return flight from SD and book the rental car. We're at the point where we're basically throwing the budget out the window and just ok'ing every extra expenditure. Once in a lifetime, ATKOT.

-So much intrigue in tonight's Draft Lottery. Must-see viewing. Crazy how much the Lakers have riding on what happens tonight.

-Go-to background instrumental music rotation for when I'm working/writing: "Clair de Lune" by Debussy, Verdi's Requiem, and Vivaldi's "Four Seasons". That's all I need.

Rudd...there was a 18yo (?) Ukrainian lady of the night at Lace in Times Square back in the day. She probably looks like an old Russian hag now...which is crazy how that happens...but man pre Great Recession that chick was pure :fire:.

Use that information as necessary.

See if you can find Dennis. That guy still alive? Need him to slap around Chief.

Rudd- The Circle Line boat tour around city kills some time, good sights, nice view of Statue of Liberty without having to book 5 years in advance, easy on the feet as the rest of the time you will have sensory overload and be on the go.

Hey KL don't forget all the legal weed. Also maybe some porn shoots.

You know... "family style".

Every pro league outside of the NFL would be well served to cut their regular season by 25%.

Start the NBA on x-mas day. NHL January 1st with the Winter Classic. MLB mid-May.

Eliminate back-to-back-to-back games. More competitive nightly product. Less chance for injury. Squashes the mass benching of starters. Easier for the casual fan to follow.

win / win for all but owners, so nope.

***sorry chad***

KL,
-wife (went to school on voice/opera scholarship) turned me on to Berlioz...worth checking out. Completely different but John Dowland is worth a listen as well.

Take the train over to Hoboken and check it out. The views across the Hudson from the pier park are really nice.

Haha. He admitted I knew more about what is going on with Fannie and Freddie. Still risky but the hedge fund guys are piling in. The latest is one of the characters portrayed in The Big Short.

We agree on Apple. Would like to question him on NVDA and their position in AI moving forward.

Hopefully this post draws him out.

I've done very well with pork bellys, but keep that here in gyero

Glad to have my little buddy bbdk back, trying to carry gyero by myself isn't easy

Anybody ever talk to Beavis?

That college girl that stoops was supposedly sleeping with has to be given some credit for this success, right?

Wasn't surprised at all when I read 116 people on gyero tell Kyle to get pumped and lick a bag, and certainly wasn't surprised when 1 person, Bristol cat, basically took him in his mouth.

-Lace. Man we got fleeced for about $100 each in 25 minutes at that place. Place staffed some true pros.

-Summer Vegas trip is essentially a pipe dream this year. Sad.

-Haven't boozed since sometime late Derby night(according to snapchat). Feeling a slight hankering but man I'm in a great workout/sleep/eat groove and that is really what kills it. I know I won't make it through the weekend.

-Nice little rides on tap.

-87. Man, this is about perfect.

-Let's lock down Bamba and roll the dice. Top 10 teams all have some issues. KU at #1? K. Zona w/out Rawle, K. Nice see these other guys finally get the wrath of departure.

-How/why did Izzo talk Bridges into returning? Jesus. I guess I missed that during the Spring.

Oh, Kyle Tucker blocked me on Twitter for mocking him because I said he would probably find a way to complain about getting head. So to steal from Rob, lick a bag you overly sensitive ****.

Chick had one on at a wedding this weekend and was sporting an atomic level wedgie the entire time. Those things are awful on chicks, for some reason make their ***/leg area look weird.
