Ha. I considered it for a millisecond until I saw 13 consecutive posts/lists on my feed.

Zero chance you came up with that list on your own.

Kelly Clarkson
The Beach Boys
Jason Aldean
Outkast
Coolio
Chicago
Kacey Musgraves
Hall & Oates
Three Six Mafia
Dwight Yoakham

Only rappers I've seen in concert, amazingly, are Outkast and Three Six. Quality > Quantity

The Sports Reporters was, in reality, the grandfather of the opinion shows on ESPN. Dick Schaap, Mike Lupica, Bob Ryan, and Mitch Albom (or Feinstein or Rhoden or the fat, toothless guy from Philly). It's going off the air for good next month. Required viewing every Sunday morning.

There is no reality that I want any part of in which "The Sports Reporters", or anything feat. Mitch Albom and Mike Lupica are required viewing.

Can I blame Chase and all the other hipster cord-cutting techno geeks for the loss of Andy Katz? Don't answer that, I blame them anyway.

Everything has to be work now, I don't want to "figure out" my TV or beat the man. I want to pay my cable bill like the damned sheep I am, turn it on, and watch a few minutes of something while I read GYERO.

The blood is on your hands, techies.

This "cutting the cord" deal is pretty much a piece of cake for you tech nerds, no??

I mean, just about everyone I know has Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, etc. That doesn't come thru your cable box. You're basically just swapping out regular cable for Sling. I'm a complete tech idiot, and I figured it out (with help, of course).

No better way to start off a weekend morning than listen to sports writers take turns fellating themselves then each other.

When ESPN can't even get Sportscenter right, you know the ship is sinking. How in the world can you mess up an hour of sports highlights with two anchors?

Classic lines from The Sports Reporters*:

"After being blown off the court by an underdog Utah team, the Tar Heels were reduced to a bunch of classless, finger-pointing crybabies." - Mike Lupica

"Vince Carter is as soft as soft ice cream." - Mike Lupica

"What Rick Pitino is doing is treason in the sports world. He's as bad as Benedict Arnold." - Bob Ryan

*all from recollection, but substantially accurate

Who was the fat dude on Sports Reporters who got caught touching kids or something?

I'm truly shocked this guy diddled kids.

No one here has actually "cut the cord" because we all have to watch UK sports. I still pay for all the ESPN's and HBO, I just pay a lot less because I'm ok with streaming it.

Rap shows are terrible, USUALLY, but Method and Red were great.

Rock the Mic 03 with 50, Jay, Snoop, Bonecrusher, Fab, Obie Trice was the worst concert I've ever been to. There will never be a worse live rapper then Curtis.

Glow in the Dark 08 with Kanye, Lupe, NERD was great though.

As has Kendrick been the 4 times I've seen him.

Rappers tend to just yell when live, and the songs sound nothing like what they were recorded to be -- and yes, it's brutal. Can't even stand to watch my favorites on awards shows, etc.

Outkast was dope AF, though. #shocker

Yep, the real ballers have access Prime, Netflix, and illegal stuff through their Firestick/Apple/Kodi, AND the convenience and apparent "luxury" of Cable/DirecTV when wanted.

Get a job, is always my advice to people.

So you basically have the exact same thing that I do, except my Sling bill is $25, and you pay Time Warner $100.

Cool.

I don't think you understand how much that extry $75 can grow to over the next 45 years, thanks to compounding interest.

Learn Brad Jordan, bro.

Moreso then a $500 lump sum investment that UKO had a few years back? I may be misremembering amount/poster but the overall story is true.

Ally has the best CD rates and products by far. 2.25% APY special currently on a 5 year.

tommyg, its not a mcrib but it features real, boneless, baby back ribs that are charbroiled and dipped in sweet and smoky Cattleman’s® Original BBQ Sauce. The ribs are then stacked on a charbroiled beef patty, topped with crispy onion strings and pickles, and served on a premium, brioche-style bun.

Think of how much DirecTV and apple sauce you'll be able to afford in 45 years!

Relying on streaming services to watch live sports is terrible. The buffering, being 60-90 seconds behind the rest of your Wildcat friends who pay for cable...it's awful. Being able to flip channels at will when multiple games are on is well worth the extra money, imo.

The best thing about NFL Draft Day is all the reminders about how bad some of Mel Kiper's predictions of draftees were.

"Ki-Jana Carter could be the next Bo Jackson."
"Akili Smith will be a great NFL player."
"JaMarcus Russell is Elway-like."
"I'll retire in 8 years if Jimmy Clausen isn't a successful NFL QB."

Still waiting....
