Trump speaks a lot like Kim Jong Un, tbh. Change the quotes around and they talk very similarly.

"We are sending an armada, very powerful,” Kim Jong Un said. “We have submarines, very powerful, far more powerful than the aircraft carrier, that I can tell you.”

“We have the best military people on earth,” the Dictator continued. “And I will say this. He is doing the wrong thing. He is doing the wrong thing.”

..................

The United States “can tip new-type intercontinental ballistic rockets with more powerful nuclear warheads and keep any cesspool of evils in the earth, including North Korea, within our striking range,” Trump said.

Every time I see a Trump tweet I think of Calipari telling people at a press conference to check something out on twitter and then looking at Peevey and saying "We've got twitter, right? I don't know.

"Folks, I don't do social media."

My "inside sales rep" has been on vacation this week. He's kinda my paperwork/organization/service issue guy. Now that all falls on me. For five. Straight. Effing. Days.

Duuuuuude. I'm so worthless at this stuff. I'm totally lost. Completely swamped. Phone blowing up. Ugh.

“We have a President that says we should get the death penalty. A president of another university. I mean to me that’s just so dadgum silly. A guy told me one time, ‘You can get a little knowledge and it turns you into a gosh darned idiot, but no knowledge you’re a dadgum double idiot.’ And that’s about the way I look at that thing.”

-emphasis added
Don't let the corny, homespun euphemisms and designer baby blue plaid sport coats fool you, Roy is a dadgum double idiot.

He towed the line during a prostitution scandal so the notion of Deener suddenly biting the hand that feeds him is a pipe dream.

Be cute if Papa said 'touch it', bought ESPN 680, Kim Jong Un'ed all the lackeys and let Jones & Co. run the joint.

You Red fans know it's 162 game season, right? Because you sound like the guy who tells you the penny stock he bought in his pedestrian E*Trade account is going to set him up for retirment.

Jones has been calling Jurich/Pitino everything under the sun in their hometown for the last 6-7 years and other than a few complete flop attempts to get Jones ousted they've basically just stood there and got punked. You think a guy that makes a 4 mile commute in a helicopter gives a f*ck what he thinks?

Like PJS said, it's "his staddium."

- Stolen from Rafters, but UK's much-maligned '12 recruiting class combined for 67pts and 34rebs last night. :scream:

- How much lower can UNC get? Now trying to get Sankey removed from the case. :joy:

Not only do the Reds have the best record in baseball, but their run differential is more than 2x the next best team. They're absolutely rolling right now.

I don't think it will last, but there is so much hope for the very near future. It's also further proof that baseball is a game that's won not by aging, overpriced players, but by having a deep group of guys in their athletic prime.

Also Papa is a weirdo but he is a very smart man. For him to berate Jurich in a open session meeting was obviously done purposely.

Should be cool watching this unfold

No, it won't. Just like all the other **** we thought was gonna be really cool, but turned out nobody gave a crap.

Getting excited about your lifelong hometown team overachieving is stupid.

Getting excited about your decided-two-years-ago underachieving team is awesome.

Can't wait to talk about the Redlegs in person with PTI in a few weeks.

Nothing wrong with seeing promise and looking forward to the future. Just find it funny how everyone is posting standings and we're 5% through the most grinding sports season, like it means squat.

To the guy who visited SoCal once and is suddenly the mayor, I can see how my 5+ year work relationship with an area doesn't compare.

Living in Columbus everyone was super pumped about the Blue Jackets winning like 17 consecutive games or whatever it was that set the NHL record this year. I actually went to a game during the streak just to get in on the excitement. There was a nice buzz in the air about it (even though I, and the majority of the people in this town, don't really give a **** about hockey). They are in the playoffs now and getting beat by the Penguins and they suck again I guess, but it was nice for the little while when they had the best record in the country, and I hope the N KY/Cincy brethren are enjoying it and I'm happy for them.

Guess what I'm saying is its nice having a pro team that you can get behind every now and then instead of being in the Louisville TOMMA Hell.

All completely true. Completely. As far as the people thinking "this is the year" though they need to pump the brakes. That staff is going to get shelled with unmerciful fury and angst this year.

Have a client who moved here from the DC area 5 years ago to take the CEO position of an in home health care company. Super sharp, fella. Does really well.He doesn't have a dog in the UK vs UL fight and doesn't even really like college sports although he went in on a box at YUM to entertain clients, etc. He's a pro sports guy.

One night we were having drinks with he and his wife and he goes on this rant about how ridiculous it is for essentially a commuter school with porous academic standards to have so much clout and control over a nice town like Louisville. He gets the college sports landscape but because he's an outsider he can not process the concept of the University of Louisville blocking the city's ability to grow and prosper by attracting a professional sports franchise. Like, he thinks it's really weird and touched up.

The homeless guy at Gardiner Lane shopping center feels the same way. Basically anyone with brain activity shares the same sentiment.

Yes, my "San Diego is a cool town" response to a topic compares to your bandwagon leap.

Louisville is not a nice city, it's crap, that's why this crap happens, and nobody gives a crap. Unreal pizza scene and the world's most profitable college sports town. Deal with it.
