Done a 180 on the Higgins stuff.

You know what, the NCAA isn't going to change anything, so it's up to the people.

Kudos BBN. Hope it brings about actual change.

John needs to get his players to stay in school. To hell with players first. That doesn't fulfill the job description. Winning the tournament is hard enough. Having a new team every year makes it harder and really makes what we've done all the more remarkable, but if there was a bit more stability...clearly the resentment folks have towards one & done is directed towards the players, and it's from the top down. Until the rule changes, hold the guys in the program.
I know this is in-game redass, but....I'm afraid it's absolutely correct.

Neither team deserved to win that game, what a pathetic half from both teams, perfect summation of how ****** college basketball currently is. Neither one of those teams would have been within 30 points of any champion from the 90's. Don't even know why I watched any of it, just served to piss me off. We had it this year, just knew it, goddamit.

Yeah I'm ready to become a NBA ball with a somewhat local team.

Until then it's minor league soccer for this guy.

Don't care about recruiting classes.

Don't care about how many players were drafted.

Don't care about how many players signed second contracts.

Don't care about how many players are in the NBA.

Don't care about preseason rankings.

Don't care about regular season rankings.

Just want another title.

If that makes me selfish, then fck it.

I'm selfish.

Its depressing. We are getting basically a whole new team next year. Zero seniors and guys coming back have basically no experience. Unless Cal hits jackpot on both Bamba and Knox it ain't happening next year. Probably 2 years away. Call me a *****.

You never really know how far our teams are away until late February. All we can really ask for is to be a 1 or 2 seed and be playing well going into the tournament. It's not realistic to demand championships or bust the way the CBB game is played.

Although, it would be awesome if one time our bracket opened up, or we got a good draw, but that simply is not going to happen. Ever.

-It's awful. Not only do they play them in domes they sell seats knowing the spectators can't see **** for $150+ a game and require at least 75,000 seats. hashtaggreedybastards

-Finished the BB season up 300 in Gambol. So that's a plus.

-We really going to do the self loathing about the 1 and done today? Get a f*cking grip. Losers. Best players win, period. [Pick arbitrary year, to show stats that Kentucky/Cal is awful.]

-Meh(exasperation), for whatever reason I don't get too bent over UNC. Whatever, f*ck those cheaters. Didn't watch the game at all.

-Just started "Man called Ove" and the lead character reminds me of SAE. Going to read it in his voice and profit from the ensuing hilarity.

-78 tomorrow.......... 47 and rain Thursday. Get The F*ck Out. 40+ degree swing, Shaking my head.

-PTI(pti) wants me to do a Tough Mudder. Laugh out loud. Nothing sounds more miserable than running around for a couple hours covered in mud in the July sun. I enjoy those overnight relay runs and a few of the charity bike rides.

-Masters week. Let's go!! Berry send me the card.

I love how much no one cares about college basketball after a UK loss. I was on Deadspin this morning and there was barely even a mention about it, actually barely a mention that last couple of weeks, and that's supposed to be a mainly sports site.

We are not going to hold back lottery picks simple as that. Nor should we. UNC basically failed their way over the last few years into that team.

Nick Richards

Height (w/shoes): 6'11.75
Weight: 239
Wingspan: 7'3.75
Hand Length: 9.25
Hand Width: 9.5
Standing Reach: 9'0.5
Country: Jamaica

Kentucky commit Nick Richards has grown a bit since last summer and posted the highest standing vertical leap among players in this group, a fairly impressive feet for a center. His 30 inch standing vertical leap ranks among the top marks recorded by a center all-time. Having grown a bit and packing on some muscle since last summer, Richards is one of the more impressive big men from a physical perspective in the high school game at this point. - Source: http://www.draftexpress.com/article/2017-nike-hoop-summit-world-select-team-measurements-5854/ ©DraftExpress

Shai Alexander

Height (w/shoes): 6'6
Weight: 175
Wingspan: 6'10.5
Hand Length: 8.5
Hand Width: 9.0
Standing Reach: 8'6
Country: Canada

Fellow Kentucky commit Shai Alexander measured very well here standing 6'6 with a 6'10.5 wingspan, both small, but relevant, improvements from the marks he was credited with at last spring's Biosteel All-Canadian Game. A tremendously talented, but somewhat raw guard with high upside, Alexander has tremendous size for either guard spot, but particularly the point guard position if John Calipari ultimately decides that's where the Toronto's native's future will be long-term. From a physical perspective, he's similar to Shaun Livingston who measured 6'7 in shoes with a 6'11 wingspan and a 186 pound frame at the 2004 NBA Pre-Draft Camp. - Source: http://www.draftexpress.com/article/2017-nike-hoop-summit-world-select-team-measurements-5854/ ©DraftExpress

- Well, we were probably one damn shot away or a couple calls away if that's how you want to look at it. If that shot rims out, I think we cut them down. Oh well. That's college basketball.

- I've always thought all you can ask for is to consistently keep knocking on that door in this sport. Keep putting contenders on the floor and eventually things will fall your way. Cal does that with remarkable consistency. Eventually, you have to think we'll get a good draw and/or a bracket may open up for us (lol yeah right). We've had to run the gauntlet nearly every damn year.

- I'm not down or upset. I'm just tired. Being a 24/7/365 diehard when everything comes down to one shot or some ****** officiating is exhausting. Looking forward to pulling back a bit and enjoying some non-sports activities. Concerts. Books. Vacations.

- I barely watched the F4. Caught maybe a minute of the Gonzaga game. Went to bed last night after checking in on my ESPN app and seeing a two-point game with 5 to go.

- Have gotten plantar fasciitis like a MFer of late. PTI- any suggestions? Just bought some expensive running store-recommended shoes. Not helping.

- Lass's parents and brother get into town tomorrow for a week. They're helping her pick out a wedding dress amongst other nuptial-related items. Love seeing them. Should be a good week.

- She chose her brother to be her Man of Honor- because he's gay, they're super close and mostly, to keep her from having to choose one of her friends and pissing off the rest. BBC, man. I'm cool with it because I'm progressive AF.

- Goodnightnow.

Don't see an issue with that. It's her brother. Think it's pretty cool.

Rest, ice and stretching for PF. Cross train, hit the bike.

To think a team with the prestige of UNC cant fill the student section at the national title game tells you all you need to know about them.
This actually didn't bother me. I mean it was fun to laugh at but I doubt I would have been able to fly out to Phoenix for a Saturday-Monday trip when I was in college either.

Airr Orthotic inserts by SofSole. Dick's or Finish Line only place I've seen them. Make sure you get the Orthotic version, as SofSole makes a variety of inserts.

Meh. My buddy's wife did the same thing, and I was actually best man on the other side. Somehow made it through the whole weekend of festivities without being forced to make out with the guy or sign off on that agenda everyone keeps worrying about.

Frankly he was cooler than the actual bridesmaids tbh

99% chance of a better speech, too.

Hmm, not so sure about that.

Went to a wedding last fall, dude was metro AF but allegedly straight, and was instructed by the groom to keep it under 2 minutes. He thought it would be cute and funny to go on for about 20. It was not. IT was awful, painful, awkward.

But that type of thing is typically reserved for the besties MOH. Inside jokes about Zack Morris and New Kids [sick]

Was at a rehersal dinner last summer for a really good friend. He went to Dennison up in Ohio which is chalk full of New England boarding school types. By the time the 7th ******* got up to brag and tell inside jokes about studying abroad in Paris and or backpacking on the trust fund dime for 2 years post college I immediately got up and left and went straight to the bar in the corner for the remainder. All of the speeches combined went 2 plus hours and I was getting thirsty and aggravated.

Short and sweet. The rehersal dinner isn't about you looking cool and funny, *******. People want to eat, drink and socialize.

Nothing is worse than "********" standing up in front of a wedding audience and pulling out a piece of paper/phone to read word for word their speech.

Grow some balls and talk from the heart in the moment or GTFO
