Myrtle Beach is redneck as hell, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy it as a kid. My family back home still goes there on vacation every year. Any airbrushed t-shirt you could ever want.

B Rax... You ever been to Florence, SC? It's a small town off I 95 and would be like if Owensboro and Memphis got together and had a small child.

Most of you will probably think this is false because every "kid does something funny" story is false, but when I was 5 years old, I got my family kicked out of a souvenir store in Myrtle Beach because I yelled out loud - because it was on a t-shirt - "WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT, DICKHEAD?"

I didn't think anything short of murder could get you kicked out of a Myrtle Beach souvenir shop.
Myrtle Beach wasn't my choice (I'm a destin man, love the emerald coast) but we are taking my wife's family. They haven't been on a vacation in several years so they are looking forward to it. Plus, apparently the place we are staying has an indoor lazy river ($$$) and arcade, so the kids are pretty much guaranteed to have a good time, which is what it's all about, fellas. Stay tuned to facebook for pictures of my redneck kids posing next to myrtle beach landmarks, like a go cart and bumper boat. Do they have a skylift? If they do I will post a picture of that as well.

My kids love it. There's a hotel in which we reside that has indoor water slides, lazy river, and games they love. The actual outside pool and ocean is "meh" to them.

Academy Ridge is mostly Dominion homes I believe. Which side of English Station are you talking about?
I'm finishing one there. But it closes in 2 weeks. Don't have anymore lots. There are 2 lots left I think for $75-80k backing up to that little pond.
I go out to my mom's house, down shelbyville rd a bit further than CA, a few times a year.... amazed each time at how many more houses/condos whatever have gone up right there off the Snyder. Think we moved out there in 96 or 96 and there was that Thortons and the Shelby Station liquor store. That was pretty much it.

Our fan base watched that game with their own eyes and was validated by scores of sportswriters and broadcasters on Twitter as the game was being played.
