- Obviously still reeling as that loss really sucked and the way it went down... but I'll manage, especially if UNC gets thumped. I'm still unsure if I'll watch the F4, but I really need to have a few good weather days to get outside & do some yardwork to focus on something else before I want to watch any CBB.
- People need to stop effing talking about Laettner, tho. The comparisons are stupid and BBN needs to effing get past lazy similarities. And it also doesn't even compare to the Wisconsin game, sorry. If you still think so, it's too raw for you to comment.
- Man, I'm not going DDMO here but I really wish we would have done more dribble hand-off action instead of solely relying on the Fox/high ball screen. I think in doing so, you would have seen a much more engaged Monk, who was on a halfcourt island with Jackson draped over him most of the game... This would have been a good wrinkle, as opposed to just watching Fox decide how he wanted to handle the screen. Monk's 11th hour heroics were dope but one can't help wonder where we would have been had we mixed up our offense to keep them off-balance.
- Germantown Commissary Ribs - DOPE. Memphis sucks, though. Awful.
- Gonna do some major binge-watching on Netflix the next few weeks with LSAT and get my mind off of sports. Watched the Chappelle standup last night and he was fantastic, especially the Austin TX venue.

But MAYBE, just MAYBE... fans showing their *** is a response to the fact that there's literally no other form of accountability for these guys and if the NCAA had some metric for their officials and repercussions for them gleefully doing a piss-poor job, then fans wouldn't feel like their frustrations were being ignored and feel the need to do something stupid just so somebody knows how broken the sport whose health only we seem to care about actually is.

* Thank God for minor league soccer season. Maxxxxx did you see the new alternative jersey? I've got a nice big Toyota logo on the front, but they wouldn't listen to me and went with black and grey.
The only blue and orange is on the FCC logo on the chest. Stupid, IMO. Berding is smarter than everyone else, tho. Just ask him.
* Replacing the blinds in all 23 windows in my house. Apparently Marge asked me about it while I was watching a game. Will be a major upgrade over the ****** accordion style blinds that came with the house, but ***** is cutting into my pergola fund.
* Smoked some mean pork tenderloins over the weekend. Made extra for lunch all week. Paired them up with smashed cauliflower. Damn, son. [banana]
* Digging The Americans so far this season. I think we get a Keri Russell *** shot this week. It has to be shown at least every other episode.
* I woke up in the middle of the night again last night, thinking about the game. Why does it matter so much to us?

The latest eye on college basketball podcast is great. Gary Parrish spent the first segment explaining his tweet and how it was just a fair question of whether Cal had underachieved, and then followed that segment up with defending how great bill self has been and that the tournament is just random. Going 2-7 in elite 8's is actually good because it's amazing that he's even been to 7 elite 8's. I mean, it's almost like he just tweeted that to get replies but I know professional journalists don't do **** like that.
I don't pretend to be a bigger fan than anyone else but I have no interest in watching the clips of how bad Higgins was. Game is over, nothing to accomplish except looking like sore losers and making ourselves upset.
