The feeling I have now makes me wish I wasn't into sports. Too much heartache involved.

I really want to ride my bike to the courthouse with a couple beers and a nice fat joint and sit on the bench and watch people get taken in to the lagrange jail. dag. Im doing it f it. I'll respond back to this thread with an edit win mession accomplished
Chilling at the courthouse now sipping blue moon smoking a doobieThis is my favorite GYERO post ever, apologies to BBdk's *******.
It sucks when we lose... but we're Kentucky and our rightful place is in the arena.

I am in favor of letting talented people maximize their earning potential. Even if they happen to be young and athletic.
"The Carolina Way"Clearly, the "right way" is to downplay their options and then funnel them through classes designed not to challenge them or teach them, but rather keep them "eligible" by an arbitrary set of standards as to benefit a bunch of argyle-wearing, fake-title-counting, sanctimonious ******** who think that THAT is doing them a favor (when really, that's pretty damn close to the definition of "using" kids.)

Ride or die with ol' MPThis is making the rounds but haven't seen it here:
Kentucky has played Unc 4 times in the NCAAT now. Previous years were 1977, 1995 and 2011. You can figure out what happened the following year.
That guy molests collies. And another thing. To hell with this guy, his stupid name, and the way he thinks.
These rules have been in place for almost a decade now and yet there's still this issue of purity. Sick of pro sports not being an admirable enough profession for student-athletes according to these Springsteen-loving sportswriter dinks. I know that guy was a Springsteen fan because it was in his bio.
If I could play basketball like De'Aaron Fox, I wouldn't have gone into sports information at a Division III school.
I don't know about all that. This one hurts more than '15 for some reason.
The Loss-Win-Loss is the worst. When you already come to grips with the loss, then they make a miracle run just to lose at the buzzer is 100x worse then if UNC had just got the ball in bounds and hit their FT's and closed it out by 5 or 6.
The way it went down is just the worst.
Good for the state? At least I got to experience my kids' first heartbreaking buzzer beater tournament loss with them!
