That loss was awful and I want to rape, murder, and then rape again John Higgins and Dadgum Roy. Also, we should probably have at least one more title since Cal's been here. And the one and done **** is frustrating because there is no continuity and one or two misses like Gabriel and SKJ can ruin a whole lot of awesome from historic players like Fox, Monk, and Bam.
But let's not forget that we are on a historic run and Calipari has turned us into Darth Vader and we have a legitimate shot almost every single year to take down a banner.
Frankly, it is pretty amazing to watch. Even when it sucks or there are minor frustrations.

Higgins refs more games than any other NCAA referee.
He is a Curtis Shaw's love child.
Screw him

And if anyone of you would swap that fat wop for any other coach on the entire planet, I'd slap you and spit in your eye.
Like, literally take a screw gun and drive screws into his body, starting with the extremities?
I'm game.
Aside from obviously the season being done, down side is UNC still being in it... The up side is 3 of the 4 teams in it still, I'd think most of us would be alright with winning a title. So there is hope, at least.
I have a new variable speed drill. Slower is better...
I'm much more sad than angry after that one. Amazing threes by Monk and Fox only to see it all wiped away by a honk at the buzzer.
Just a crushing defeat.
Just a crushing defeat.
The zone was a nice call, but we had Hump wide open on the first possession and Bam for a dunk which no foul was called on.
Up 5 in the bonus and Briscoe/Fox didn't drive again aggressively to score.
That play we came out of the half with was unreal! Not sure why we stopped running it.

I am tough on Cal, and I love nothing more than to throw snark his way, but Im proud as hell of him and the team for this season. In fact, there's something about this loss that somehow *feels* more genuine than the others, thereby basically shutting that snark completely off.
It's a brutal ending, but man, a cathartic season. I grew to love these guys during some of the darkest days of my life, when nothing seemed good anymore, and certainly nothing seemed possible for them. I'll never forget them for it, and I'm eternally grateful for everything they gave me.
All of them will be remembered very fondly by this Wildcat Friend.

Worst part is not being able to enjoy the Final 4 next week. Just can't do it. No Sir.
Doubt it. Next year will be 2010 2.0. No shooters. Garbage zones all year.
I agree. I just don't know who our starting 5 will be....
Been watching Peppa Pig for the last 45 minutes, checking this thread and twitter from time to time. Just looked up and I'm the only person in this room. Wow. At the end of the day, I didn't put UNC in my original Final Four. I put the Cats in there. My bad, gang.
Next year may very well be an NIT year. A mediocre PG with no shooters. Should work well
Not sure that necessarily scares me. P.J. Washington and Jarred Vanderbilt look like hellacious passers at the 3/4, which is more effective against zones than just trying to shoot over it.
Get Knox and Bamba and it will honestly be an experiment in basketball theory.
Welp looks like it's MaxPowerrr against the world in 207-2018. Saddle up.
I'm seriously contemplating driving to Boston to beat Jeff Goodman senseless. First thing I'm going to do is knock his crooked jaw straight. Masshole son of a *****.
Anyone watching ESPN/CBS and hasn't unfollowed all the troll CBB writers is doing it wrong. It's not worth it
No ****. I'm on twitter/sports blackout until at least next weekend.
UNC outrebounded us and was the more physical team. Officiating didn't go our way and Monk didn't show up until late.
But we had a chance despite everything above. I think UNC wins 6 of 10 vs us. Pretty even matchup but their size is a challenge and we are 1 big short.

BTI hosting the post game show. Just asked the question to Matt who is on the phone "do we root for USC or North Carolina next week?
Would have been nice to have Marcus Lee tonight. Hope he is enjoying Cal.
Time for a good book, Homeland, Netflix binge, maybe start Billions.
And more bourbon.
Going on a twitter/TCP/facebook hiatus. This was my last real distraction before real, real life starts to get going again.
Almost had one week left of it and a trip to Phoenix.
Sigh.

Yeah, I'm out of here for the foreseeable future. :victory:
That Fox locker room video, damn.
Respect forever, he's a Wildcat, no doubt.
️
I threw a glass, ruined the basement/marriage, and cut myself bad enough that we're probably heading to the ER soon. I'll be gone for awhile too, Puppies.

Going to CA Th and had already planned a sidetrip to Phoenix Saturday just in case. Oh well.
Need to grieve with my Wildcat friends so no hiatus here.

Bam, too. Etc.
Cal has done a damn good job of bringing in great kids. I've been hard on Izak and Wenyen but they both seem like utterly nice, good kids who are learning and improving. Briscoe, etc.
Not a single one has done anything to hurt the university and all seem to care and be awesome.
Excellence is hard and a knife's edge but damn, we're lucky.
