The NCAA didn't seem to take too kindly to UofL's weak *** response.

The stuff where UofL said they shouldn't be treated as a repeat major offender is interesting. I thought you had to be on probation, and cheat during that time to be considered for increased penalties as a repeat offender. This is the stuff that UofL got off on a technicality before. They were given a postseason ban, and UofL argued they were not properly informed they were being charged as a repeat offender, and on that technicality the appeals committee lifted the postseason ban. (Samaki Walker...Nate Johnson cases).

I just had a thought, and this would be ridiculously hilarious if it applies. Was UofL's program essentially "under probation" because they decided to keep Clint Hurtt on with is show cause penalty? Please, please, please let that be the reason they could get charged as repeat offender.

FLYM mentioned this place a few years ago on here. I've always wanted to try it, but the neighborhood....

If you live in Lex, you haven't had real authentic Mexican unless you've eaten on this side of town. Ramirez's burrito is unreal, and the place next to it (El-Rey) has the best tacos in town, TS. I eat there all the time. Pastor tacos :100points:

Neighborhood is fine during the day, never once felt unsafe there.

“Put simply, arranging and funding sexual intercourse for a prospective student athlete on an official visit is a severe violation, wholly inconsistent with NCAA principles, whether valued at $80 or $120.”

Can someone put that as a tag line in one of those feel good NCAA ads they run during the tournament?

Sorry guys- been to the Louisville board already and this means nothing. They expected this. Just part of the process. Rick will maybe get a 5-game suspension. Preseason #1 next year.

Zipp over there is truly a pathetic, delusional POS. He literally thinks they have passed the institution phase and that the NCAA won't touch them beyond self imposed sanctions.

Some over there see it for what it's worth, but most are just as arrogant as their administration and believe the worst is over.

Ninety-five percent of student-athletes will go pro in something other than sports!

Nice article on Gabriel

http://www.kentucky.com/sports/college/kentucky-sports/uk-basketball-men/article140424843.html

Most of our runs that weren't set in stone have been helped along by surprise performances from marginal players who were struggling or inconsistent. Marcus Lee as a benchwarming Freshman vs Michigan, Poythress vs. UofL, Harrellson. I'm not counting on it, but something like that is required for this team to beat the teams that lay ahead.

Of course, you could also argue it's already happened for this team with Hawkins -- who was absolute garbage mid-season and now obviously indispensable.

Derrick Walton & Zak Irvin, lol. Those two dudes played 46 minutes vs Kentucky 4 years ago in the E8.

NOTHING quite like taking my teenage daughter shopping for stuff and talking to sales associates , greeting people, having small talk with another local musician in the aisle.....only to get to the toilet and realize that there was a pretty authoritative sized BOOGRAH hanging out.....AND my fly was undone

so/////I'm feelin pretty cool right about now......

Gregg Marshall picking UCLA is the type of thing that will have Chad steaming. Almost wish I wouldn't have posted this b/c now he won't make the post he was going to make.

Not sure I'm following- why would I be steaming? Obviously, I want UCLA to suck but would rather him be there than Indiana.

I know DAD is the boss of the Lexington spread game, but how does everyone feel about Larry Mac?

Working on some Jalapeno Swiss deal here the wife randomly picked up at Liquor Barn.

Just spent the last 10 minutes convincing my wife that Javon Carter is 31 years old. I told her that he was falsely accused of armed robbery while in high school, went to prison for 8 years, was later found innocent, walked-on at WVU, redshirted, and now is playing in his Sr. year. I asked her if she has been under a rock because there have been all kinds of stories on it. She's Googling it now and will Ric Flair chop me in about 90 more seconds.

All because she said, "poor guy. He looks like he's 31."

That's what March Madness looks like at my house.

Wouldn't have it any other way. Wives who like sports suck- especially Wodie Sloot imo.

Webber is actually really good with his analysis, just needs to calm down a bit -- tries a little too hard to the point of being slightly annoying.

I bet he ends up really good with some seasoning if he sticks with it.

Took a week of vacation that I was going to lose anyway this week so I could be free for the first four rounds of the tournament. First two rounds/3 days went swimmingly as you well know, then Tuesday I caught a virus from my seven month old daughter who I think probably did it on purpose because she hates me because milk doesn't come out of my tits.

Fast forward to Thursday night and I've spent the last three days bed-ridden. Doc says to expect another 2 days of symptoms. Managed to quarantine myself in the TV room so I can at least watch games. No worries about familial interruptions as nobody wants to be anywhere near me except Owen who is just posted at the gate to the room whimpering. Also, this is wife's busiest week of the year at work and I can't pitch in on two kids under the age of four. Back to work on Monday.

F*** UCLA. I deserve this.

- WVU win means profit in the Calcutta. Plus I love cheering for them. Feel like they're my solid second team.

- Things my grandfather hated:
• Japan
• Cassius Clay (refused to call him by his "dodger name"
• The University of Louisville

That's it. That's the list.

- Leftover CFA sauce from my post call breakfast this morning...incredible wing sauce. Mercy.

- Nashville real estate. Christ. Trying to live downtown but the prices are nuts.

- 2001 Explorer I've had since I was 16 is on her last leg. Think I'll be able to hold out a few months but damn that'll be a sad day. High school, college road trips, tailgates, winter storms up here. Been through a lot.

But I'm sure the 2016 explorer I'm planning on replacing with will be a nice coping mechanism.

What a back breaking type play for MIchigan. Up 3, Oregon misses front end & chance to go up 5-6 with a minute.. nope, rebound/put back. Another bucket, and now they're down.

That's the worst.

Edit: Yep, that was the play. Shew. #DoubleCIUTho
