K in the post-game:

"I've absolutely loved coaching this group. I've never had a year like this, with all the injuries, with everything. But never a problem with attitude. You know, these kids have really grown into being men."

Nothing comes to mind? Really? Grayson is literally sitting right next to you.

What a magical night.

It's going to be Kentucky, UNC, or Kansas for the title. This team can be National Champions in two weeks with the sweetest road ever.

The absolute nightmare scenario UL fans lived here in Indy today was unbelievably delicious.

We're sending UCLA home. Perfect.

So not trying to give a **** about the women's team but you had a home game each game through the elite 8 and you barely beat a 13 and lose to the 5 on your home floor? Imagine if Cal was in that situation.

Don't we owe that muppet even more money if he makes the sweet sixteen or something?

I'm glad they lost. Lose every game, Matthew. Who cares?

Duke got so lucky again this year. Kentucky got to face a mid major in round 2, and Duke got paired up against a better seeded power conference team. I swear Kentucky gets all the breaks.

^No way, Allen is still there by a mile BUT WAAAAY out in front on the -> "Man, F*CK Luke Kennard."

Of course cutesy Baldwin was doing his typical contrarian slurp job. "I love Luke, he's soooo cute, he's just the best, you all are haters for not liking LUUUKE." Typical cutesy.

-Was just talking to Bean yesterday about our draw vs the other guys. MU was on a mission from God, USC is exactly the kind of tough team that'll make Duke wish they hadn't shown up.

-Frank!! Love that dude.

-Pretty weak display by me in Indy. Up at 4a in NOLA Friday morning to catch a flight to Indy. Napped, worked out, and to TR about 4, went pretty good until game time. Decided to skip the extremely drunk late St Pattys(AWFUL CROWD that holiday has jumped) crowd in order to kill it on the off day. About 3a woke up with the urge and that was pretty much my life the next 30 hours.

-Marshall, dump that crazy hussy and we'll talk but she's really nutso.

-The joy of walking out of an arena after winning and UL losing will never get old. Just SOOOOO sweet. Those dbags mostly stayed around to watch us lose or cheer for WSU.

-Befriended a few Michigan dudes this weekend. Good folks for the most part.

-Bernie :joy: I'll give him this... he leaves it all on the field at NCAAT weekends. "Don't like hangover so I just bought a bottle of vodka at 8a to take the edge off. TO THE CEILING (x100). Anus has to take the bus back to Louisville because he's on the no fly."

I'm sure Kennard is a really great kid, but that Dukeness gets in your veins and just seeps out of your pores. It's inevitable. And was on full display at the end of the game last night.

- Where's @KingLlama at to share some WestwoodOne nostalgia with me?

-It's not the same without Tommy Tighe, but it's still perfect for the road. Kevin Kugler is a solid PBP man, and P.J. Carlesimo offers nice insights. Will Perdue's pretty good, too.

-Pretty cool few days of hoops with my Pops. His alma mater, Fern Creek, made the Sweet 16 for the first time in its history. Seeing him get all excited about their run made me all nostalgic about the years when he and I(and two friends) would go to the entire tournament. He and I went to a couple of sessions and just got immersed in that whole scene at Rupp all over again. Miss those days, and wish my girls had any interest at all in doing the same. May start going back each year anyway and just take a different person with me to each session.

-Underrated benefit of the tournament moving into its second weekend....no more Len Elmore. Yes, CWebb is mediocre at best, but his partner, Brian Anderson, is pretty underrated, IMO.

-Coaching hire grades so far: Illinois(B+), NCSU(B), Mizzou(C+), Washington(Incomplete).

-Just like in basketball, there's a time and score in GYERO, too. Know it.

Btw, the UK student's performance in the halftime shootout was absolutely stunning.....splashed roughly 16 out of 20 ish 3 pointers. Not to mention it was right after the Wichita State kid airmailed all his attempts halfway to Mars in true "don't leave it short" fashion. Stones.

Mags surely you have a clip of that?
It was unreal.

First, that Wichita kid was AWFUL. He hit the rim like twice. Made just 1 shot.

Then Austin, UK student, steps up and arrogantly skips the layup points... walks to the top of the key then drains 16 of 20 3's to score 80 points when the next highest score from the tourney wide contest was 26. Lol. Dude was just $$. He should be playing D2 or something. That shot was pure.

* Has the potential to be a damn near perfect run. The next 3 games could see us end the seasons of UCLA, UNC, and then Kansas. It won't happen of course, because one of us will lose before then. But if it did. Wow. WOOOOW.

* Of course our region is the only one with an all chalk final four.

*What kind of carpet-bagging UK fan would root for UCLA over UC? Sad!

* Am I the only one who doesn't care about the Marshall's wife/NCAA/video deal? I mean, it was interesting for about 30 seconds, but that's it.

* This handsome sonofabitch says we have a 68% chance of beating UCLA:
