And Maryland got a 6 somehow. Did the committee think they were still in the ACC?

A six seed for Maryland was about right. It's Wisconsin's eight that was goofy. They should have been about a 4 or 5 seed.

And as they always say, seeding mistakes like that don't hurt the team that was mis-seeded (Wisconsin); they hurt the team that has to play them (Villanova).

Hold on, are we possibly going to be down to just 3 teams left in the ACC before the sweet 16?

In the Cal era who are the top 5 good guys/good people that have come through the program? (Ask because just saw this Dom article)

Dom and Towns are tied at #1 for me. Help me out with the other 3.

Virginia with a whopping 26 pts in 29:30 minutes. Bennett may be able to teach D but his teams will never win the big one because they can't put the biscuit in the basket, or something like that

Didn't Willie do some pretty cool stuff with kids while being a big kid himself?

Didn't the Big East (UL version), tagged as the greatest conference and had a ton of teams in the tournament, flame out in a similar fashion as the ACC is doing?

Wisconsin 27-9 overall, 12-6 in conference, wins Big Ten tournament by beating Northwestern by 28 points. And gets an 8 seed.

Northwestern 24-12 overall, 10-8 in same conference, also gets an 8 seed.

That makes no sense.

Wisconsin didn't win the Big Ten tournament.

If Florida wasn't allowed to take another shot, how long would it take Virginia to overcome a 25-point deficit? We're talking hours, right?
If they're still allowed to defend, they wouldn't be exerting any energy on the offensive end and so they'd probably have more energy to defend Virginia's intricate, precision, screen-dominated, vaunted "contested 19-foot jumper" play.

Let's go 7 hours.

Remember in Band of Brothers at the end when the defeated German Army is riding horses back in retreat and the GI just starts giving them **** about WTF were they thinking? Virginia basketball.
