Ummm, yes. We might win, but the bottom line is that we're a f'ing top 5 team playing a f'ing (KenPom) top 5 team in the second goshdamn round. It's ridiculous, and our AD is the worst negotiator on the planet. If this were UofL, Jurich would have the Cards playing Bellarmine's janitorial staff in the second round.
We have ****** draw (hopefully our freshmen can overcome it), period.
Unforced turnovers by Fox and crooked shooting by Monk relegated our vaunted backcourt to a hapless band of empty talent. No offense to NKU, but a 2 seed should beat them by 20. We are getting bounced Sunday against an opponent vastly superior to NKU if we don't get it together.
Really though, who is surprised at this point? We've looked dominant in maybe 2 games since the Tennessee loss despite being undefeated during a significant stretch. If we are going to advance in this tournament, it's going to be with a razor thin margin for error.

I put this uneven performance on Cal. We were starting to cruise in the first half and he started messing with the rotation. Humphries was out there early. Played Gabriel a ton. I think he was tinkering and resting guys. Completely took them out of their rhythm. Monk's shooting is the only real concern I have. He's gone from a couple bad games to full blown slump. He missed three wide open 3s in a row at one point that he typically nails with ease.
His shot/form even looks different imo. Seems lazy. Idk. Something is just off.

Doesn't the lack of upsets mean they did a pretty good job seeding?
Can we get rid of the handshake line in college basketball? It kills exictement and feels childish, especially during the tournament.
