These are probably my favorite 4 days in sports. Close the shop TH/FR, opening 2 rounds, games all day, got games going on the tube, tablet, and phone at the same times and this
to make feel like a fat

**** yea.

Actually, they earned the #1 seed over the past 5 months, by going 32-1 and kicking the everloving **** out of everyone along the way.

LOL at Gottlieb calling Parrish a Crean-sucking dumbass who knows nothing about basketball and is short.

(I'm paraphrasing.)

Gonzagas problem is talent.

Every year, elite teams like UNC, Duke, Kentucky and Arizona have at least one guy who wil go onto the NBA and have a better career than literally anyone who Mark Few has ever coached.

It puzzles me how even you diehard basketballs can continue to get duped into thinking otherwise.

Virginia is just one of those teams this year that's not going to score a lot of points but will play good D and will jump up and beat someone like UNC when they have no business doing so. They'll get a 5 seed and then beat a team like UNC Wilmington in the first round. Get that people might have expected more but this is who they've been all year.

I love the Brannens- good people. Actually chatted with John for a few this summer. That said, they've always hated Kentucky. I'm afraid I'm going to have to root for us to win by 30+.

Any of you remember John at Morehead or Marshall? He reminded me a lot of Pelphrey- 6'7" wing who loved to bomb 3s. He and Keith Veney helped Billy Donovan win quickly at Marshall. John played for Dick Fick before transferring, choosing Donovan's Marshall program over Sendek's Miami (OH) program.

If other SEC schools give half a **** about improving the perception of the conference, it might be a good idea to win a few of these first round games.

Put my payment for the bracket in a mailbox today. Hope it was the right one.

Couldn't find a stamp, was late getting to the first session at Rupp, was in the area, HATE paying late, and I didn't hide in the bushes.

Hope that was ok?

9/11 was obviously horrifying; however, you weren't tuning in to watch something that was supposed to be a great and historic event. You weren't told all about this lady who was a teacher, how much of an inspiration she was, and how everyone could reach their dreams...only to watch the shuttle explode and every one die...in 4th grade.

Now, if a teacher turned on 9/11 coverage in a 4th grade class, said teacher should have been fired immediately.

Down here in the heartland of KY, the bluegrass region, we had entire school days dedicated to the cats, and we were proud of it. There was no sneaking around or wheeling in the school TV like we were some poor unprepared bastards. Every room had TV's mounted in the corners strictly for watching the cats, and the entire school watched as they ate a nice potluck style spread full of goodies.

Gotta agree with Mashburned. We didn't eff around with the Tourney (SEC and NCAA). If the Kates were on, we didn't change classes; you stuck right where you were until the game was over/halftime.

We had the same procedure when Cal was hired. Pretty dope day
