I haven't looked at a single "expert's" bracket and I am happier for it.

Regarding possibly playing UCLA&UNC again, Cal at UK in the tourney is 2-1 against teams that beat us during the regular season and 3-0 against teams that we beat in the regular season. [thumb2]

I've always worried about making fun of Crean so much because if he and Cal really are buddies, my worst fear is seeing that pederast roaming our sidelines.

Can likely expect the series to renew relatively soon. Low hanging fruit for the new coach to pick up some good will/publicity, and the next coach likely won't be so short-sighted to demand home and home.

Let's hope for their fourth straight stupid hire in the last 20 years. I wouldn't put it past them but it will be hard to mess this one up with obvious choices like Archie and Marshall available.

Cal was willing to do every December in Indy and those dipshits still wouldn't budge. Glass may be more of a pain about it than just Crean.

We will never go back to Bloomington as long as Cal is in Lexington. The crap that was spewed upon Anthony Davis' family went a little too far.

Alford might just come home. Marshall to UCLA, maybe?

Amuses me how the media is always outraged when a ****** albeit media-friendly coach gets fired. They are so much smarter than the boorish fans and more benevolent than the money-hungry boosters and athletic department.

At the end of the day, they're all just a bunch of nerds who want to hang out with "cool" people and act like fanboys when they get the chance.

Tom Crean may be media friendly, but is that someone you really want to invest a lot of time in befriending? Jesus, man.

He's like the nerdiest kid in class, whose parents just so happen to be rich so he drives a nice car.

You know how I said I like for our rivals to be really good, but not quite good enough to beat us?

Well, Steve Alford is THAT GUY for IU, imo. Perfect fit. Very good, solid coach who doesn't scare me one bit. And yes, they're dumb enough to "keep it in the family." Go get em, IU!!
