Clearout for Tatum
Bonzie Colson hurt his ankle

That's all it took. Notre Dame totally panicked when Duke went to the press. They could never stop Tatum at any point, and after Colson got hurt, he was never the same and Notre Dame couldn't get anything going in the halfcourt.

Really glad Bilas said himself, despite a higher seed in the ACC and the exact same record, that ND even with a win is a 4/5 maybe a 3 seed at best yet Duke MUST be in the discussion for a 1 seed.

Hope Monk drags his nuts all over arkansas. F them. F Mike Anderson and his sore losing *** ways. I want them to have to watch Monk go off on them so much that they can't even bring themselves to watch the selection show. Cant wait to watch Anderson do another blow by handshake after taking that L.

Arkansas is exactly who i wanted tomorrow.

How many GD years have we been shafted only to listen to some slapdick in a cheap suit telling us "Well, we didn't factor in when Kentucky boat raced a top twenty team a few hours ago, just didn't have time to factor it in..."

Good give em us as the 2. Say what you want about the SEC but we won't see top to bottom athleticism like we did for multiple games. We have been tested by teams guards and low post athletes. We have been playing better D to counteract it. Monk and fox Leggo. I like my team.

Yeah, and it's supposed to be the entire body of work this year...not how a team is playing at the end.

Seriously, I'm so GD pissed just thinking about it.

Can't sleep. Sitting here thinking of the ways The Committee is going to screw my university. Mad enough to piss boiling water and it's 3 hours before daybreak.

Sunday: raging redass over seed/placement, dog cussing The Committee
Monday: coveting our rivals hypothetical easy path to a Final Four, continued dog cussing of Committee
Tuesday: watching play-in games and talking ourselves into such-and-such conference being overrated
Wednesday: convincing ourself we're good enough to get through our gauntlet, continued dog cussing of Committee
Thursday: F EVERYBODY!!!! BRING IT!!!!

^^ Usually how this week plays out, right? ^^

Didn't the selection committee drop Cincinnati's seed back in the day when Kenyon Martin broke his leg in the conference tournament under some BS pretense? Anything to screw Huggins, I guess.

I'm fully expecting Duke to get a 1 seed and us to get a 3. Oh well. Bring it.

Yes. They said that with the injury Cincy wasn't a 1 seed moving forward instead of going by their resume and qualifications for the entire year.

The selection committee is basically a good ole boy network of old white men who do each other favors and most don't know crap about basketball.

The main issue is that they change the criteria year to year with no transparency. Moving targets.

South 1. Duke 2. Kentucky 3. Oregon

East 1. Villanova 2. UNC 3. West Virginia

Midwest 1. Kansas 2. UCLA 3. Louisville

West 1. Gonzaga 2. Arizona 3. Baylor

The alternative would maybe even be easier for Duke and that would be to swap them and Arizona.

Wasn't Bilas all in on the "those smart Cornell student athletes" talk in 2010?
Yep, I think one of our own on that Kentucky team had to calm Bilas down a bit with this quote while wearing his Wayfarers...

"I'm not getting into all that," Cousins said. "They're ballplayers and they're here for a reason. They earned their way into the Sweet 16 ... I'm not getting into smart kids, dumb kids. ... They run their stuff, no matter what," he said. "They can play ball, bottom line. We're not out there reading books, we're out there playing basketball."

The buildup for that game and all of the narrative was blatant racism. It all reached a tipping point when that New England snot *** writer with curly hair, Dan Shaughnessy, wrote that nasty column. Kudos to Mags for bringing him on the air and crushing him while througughly getting under his skin. He probably thought he'd come on the air with some country bumpkin and Mags ran circles around his hypocrisy.

One of the better quotes from a UK player of all time.
