As an AL resident, I freakin love Avery Johnson. Saw him speak at a local chamber event recently and he is impressive. He is the rising coaching star in the SEC. It is amazing that AL fans are actually aware of bball down here even if it is only a few weeks a year and is all because of AJ.

I hope we kick their *** tomorrow.

Will pull for UNC tonight. Let them blow their load in this tourney and hopefully get Duke to lower seed which I doubt happens, but one can hope.

Per new father Kyle Tucker, who wrote an article positing that it would behoove Kentucky to lose this weekend, you cannot win a national championship if you enter the NCAA Tournament on a winning streak, so I hope both UNC and Duke win.

Bama going to play out their minds tomorrow is a :100points: lock. Time to play some march :basketball:

Monks release looked strange today pushed it quite a bit. Need that pure stroke back.

****- with UNC losing, that probably opens up a 1-seed BUT Vandy winning keeps us from the opportunity to beat another Top 3-4 seed in Florida, thus hurting our chances of sliding in.

That said- maybe the Pac 12 gets a 1 now which might still benefit us.

A potential #1 seed Oregon in Memphis doesn't seem too daunting. Of course UNC would probably stay ahead of us and we'd get shipped to Kansas City.

UNC's problem is that their best win away from Chapel Hill came in November against a marginal Wisconsin team. I'm sure the committee will ignore that but their resume isn't much at all better than ours and we beat them head to dead.

Duke a 2? So I guess the Conference tourney matters again when deciding a seed.

If U.K. wins out how are they not a 1 over UNC with 2 fewer loses, a head to head win and a Tourney title?

Don't care what their seed is. Don't care what you call me. If you can't see that Duke is one of the most dangerous teams in the country, and think that we as "rival" fans shouldn't worry about it, then I have grossly overrated your basketball knowledge.

I've cheered against them all year, against every team they've played, hoping that someone would break their spirit. I was excited about it in early January too. Just like we all were. But it didn't happen and now they're here. And they're friggin' dangerous.

I see it- I saw it two months ago. Your post was still a ***** post.
