During the NCAAT games at YUM! last year when GYERO twitter tried to convince ULSheriff that UofL was no longer the host university, citing (non-existent) NCAA rules that stated if the University was not in good standing with the NCAA, it could not be credited as a host for the games.

This UNC game has 9 minutes left, and there have been 3 team fouls this half.

There's been 14 fouls called in 19 minutes of UT/UGA. That's not too bad.
We should go independent in basketball a la Notre Dame football and just work an arrangement with the SEC akin to theirs with the ACC for all other sports.

CBB Official Pet Peeve (and one we, err, Briscoe has benefited from numerous times) -------> the seemingly automatic DOUBLE TECHNICAL any time there is any bit of a dust up or chippiness.
75% (or more) of the time, only one player actually deserves a technical -- seems lazy just to call a double technical every time, especially if they are going to spend 15 minutes at the damn monitor reviewing it when they're going to call the DT anyways.

That is actually a damn good letter. It's one of the best things I've ever heard / read from a UK player about what it's like.
I just skipped over it until I read your post. Figured it was typical fluff/filler that comes along this time of year, but you said you liked it and you pretty much hate everything, so I went back and read it. GYERO Effect. And yeah, it was a great letter.
