I've rarely been angrier than I was in 2004 during that UAB game. Many games have a taken a larger toll on me emotionally, but I was literally ready to murder someone during that game.

*I hope those twins are dead.

Worst loss ever for me (because of where I live), up until 2015.

(Cue somebody saying "HEY GUYS ANYMORE HEARTBREAKING LOSSES YOU WANNA TALK ABOUT OR MAYBE THE TIME YOUR DOG DIED?)

Hart won't be drafted in the 1st round ? I guess he's borderline.

I just don't think we would've beaten Kansas or Syracuse for that matter with Melo and Warrick.

He may, (he should) but he's not the type of guy you're referring to. UNC, the team they beat (and tourney fav) barely had one...Johnson went 25th.

I agree with your point in general, and history backs that up (needing an elite talent or two) for the most part. But, there are exceptions.

- Lets get some happy thoughts- how about that 2011 Ohio St/UNC weekend bender? Or that 35-37 FT effort against Indiana in '12? Or that F'ing 2014 run? :alien::scream::cheers2:

- I don't agree with any All-American teams putting Kennard first team over Justin Jackson. I hate them both fwiw.

The Ninth Region final tonight should be bonkers at BB&T Arena. CovCath and Cooper have been the two best squads all year. Collision course game.

There's something about really good mid major teams that also have good athletes. Scrappy. Physical as ish. A street edge. Dudes are maybe pissed that they didn't go High D1.

That Illinois St vs Wichita St game ystdy was fun to watch.

1995 Elite Eight loss to UNC was the first time I experienced the rage with a tourney loss. Everything before that was just boyhood sadness. Something changed that afternoon.
This. I mean pure rage.

The UAB game was only the second time since seeding was created that a #1 seeded UK team didn't make it out of the first weekend.

Tough call on Jackson and Kennard, but Kennard has better stats than Jackson pretty much across the board, including shooting 45% from 3 to Jackson's 38%. Hard to pick one, though, I agree

Agree that Jackson is unique, and the 2nd best 3 in the nation behind the other one. Berry will be the top PG next year, imo.

Have a soft spot for pure 'college' basketball players, and Berry fits that mold. Dude is tough as nails.

Don't think I slept but maybe 8 hours total that Sweet 16/Elite 8 weekend in 2011.

Adrenaline, happiness, nervousness, confidence, plenty of beers, euphoria and the feeling of not going to a Final Four in 13 years in the back of my head for 48 hours made me a wreck.

Kennard deserves Berry or Monk's spot, probably.

Switch Motley & Josh Jackson, and that's my 2 teams.

Member when CBS ruined the Selection Show last year by dragging it out for two hours and some internet hero said F it and released the bracket online? Surely they aren't going to try that again this year and ruin one of the best moments of the sports' year by making the Selection Show unwatchable again. Has anyone looked into this?

6 more days until Golf Light savings time! [cheers]

54 holes this weekend, feel like I played football I'm so sore today. In addition to losing 20 (6lbs down!), I think I need to take a page from PTI(pti) and give yoga a shot. My general flexibility has gone down about 50% in the past few years...can't even keep my left arm from breaking down in my golf swing anymore, which seems absolutely ridiculous to me. Getting old sucks.

Yoga is indeed awesome. You'll feel fantastic afterwards. Bikram style is harder than anything I do at the gym.

Yoga may be awesome, but the yoga I've tried on dvd form SUCKS ***. Specifically that p90x yoga can DIAGDF. Toughest part of that entire workout.

I'd like a little more low key session just for flexibility purposes, but it seems every advertised yoga is some super-turbo mutilate and heat you to a thousand degrees yoga.

P90x yoga is seriously very hard.

Great results though. Do it once a week after class, really helps with overall mobility and flexibility with lifting.

I played 4 holes yesterday with the kids, and then 08 said he was really hungry, so we went to Home Run Burger and had a nice lunch.

Chase, check out this streaming program called Yoga30for30. My wife and I just finished a round of it. Each session is about 30 minutes or so, and there's a lot of variety (relatively speaking). The guy has this California stoner vibe to him, but he's good at walking you through stuff and not getting too crazy with the pace. The gal - his wife - is a bit of a hardass until you get used to her tempo.

I tend to have lower back issues from sitting at a desk all day, and yoga has helped a lot. I think a loss of flexibility is one of the things that makes you feel "old," so I'm all for avoiding it however possible.

Yeah it's a great feeling the first time you *really* stretch your back out and it sounds/feels like someone is standing behind you going to town on a whole roll of bubble wrap.
