It's pretty awesome having two guards in your lineup who can't shoot. Can't see that causing problems at a critical point.
We went from being probably the 2nd best offensive team in the nation to struggling to get 25 in a half.
Hawk basically needs to play 35+.
He does things that combos of Fox/Monk/Briscoe can't or won't.

Try a little patience. This is a young team on the road. The in game bitching is getting ridiculous.
We appear to be the only high level basketball team in North America that places almost no premium on three point shooting as the game moves further and further in that direction. You just can't play extensive minutes in 2017 with only 1-2 players who can't hit an open three point shot. That's not how basketball works now.
Hawkins should be starting for Briscoe. Period.

Hawkins is basically the second best of our guards at EVERYTHING. He has to be on the floor.

Hawkins plays knowing he is in a support role. He looks for open shots, to set teammates up, and will pass if he doesn't have a play.
Fox especially thinks he has to be a scorer to be a star. The problem is that he's such a poor shooter that his scoring actually hurts us if he isn't getting to the foul line.

Monk was growing roots at the 3pt line he was standing there wide open for so long on that Briscoe drive against their entire team.
After our initial **** show, Cal has largely avoided playing Briscoe and Fox together. Must have been siting there hitting F5 on GYERO on the bench.
^ they each look better when they aren't together, as well -- for obvious reasons.

Briscoe is going to run **** at the New Jersey city

Makes zero sense to continue starting Briscoe. Bring him off as the 6th man to replace whoever has a bad matchup, fouls, etc.
