My guy Abhi Sainju, probably considered one of the better sushi artists in the nation, finally opened his own joint a few weeks back- just like I told him to do years ago.

Checked it out last night and he delivered. Combining his Nepalese heritage fused with some new age Japanese fair- a fine dining experience.

I could do without the craft cocktails- but thats what the gals want these days, lol. Goodwood's Bourbon Barrel Stout was pretty nice.

Ground turkey dumplings in a local grown tomato sauce
Seared pork belly
Spicy miso ramen bowl- enough to feed a village
Couple of Abhi's signature rolls

Menu will be rotating seasonally so I will definitely post about it again!

Willy,

Look into a metal louvered pergola. My parents have one (solidly middle class-borderline upper middle) and it is awesome. It is motorized so that you can open or close it. It is pretty nice.

Wait, what? Motorized? Louvered?

Look, if your pergola isn't integrated into your lush landscape, draped and covered in luscious vines, it's basic af and you should just set it on fire via satanic sacrifice fueled by the stupid faux brick fire pit that sits under it. JMHO

I called krazykats for a quote for some lumber on a little firewood shed I'd like to add. He was going to "call you tomorrow with some figures", but that was over a month ago.

I mean, dude must be CRUSHING. IT! Aint nobody got time for little basic jobs.

Something simple like this would be perfect to fit right behind our little Cart Barn:

Probably get my FIL & Stepdad to help (aka, build) it unless anyone in GYERO is looking for a little extry cash & free beers/food.

Pretty shocked a lumber salesman would forget an order worth $19.

I'd like this fine establishment of a post to share their opinion on the potential effectivity of a grass roots movement from the fanbase, members of the Commonwealth, Aquarians, and possibly anarchists --- to have a team removed from the conference

Could that ever happen?

Cause I want both Texas A&M and Missouri both the hell out

I've thought about it for 3 years now -- and it ain't 'natural

We can replace them with better concession stands and another t-**** launcher at home foot ball games

How do we get this started?
Do we elect a leader?

I'm fine with Texas A&M, but WVU would be a much more natural fit for the SEC than Missouri. We would hate them so very very much.
I would like this because of the hate their fans would reciprocate to us. They also dont have any drinking or decency laws in that state so those roadies could be wild, man.

WVU fans dress like B1G fans. I want no part of that sullying the fine scenes of a conference where it just means more

Also, they travel like dickheads IIRC. The ol', they bring the 10 Commandments and a $20 bill and don't break either

It's honestly the most sober, genuine discussion I have with UofL friends whenever West Virginia comes up. They literally don't wish it upon UK fans.

I thought the world was flat, filled with white people and Asians until I spent some time in South Carolina.

Hard to believe we beat this A&M team by nearly 50. Id like to see a flash of that team again. My boy SKJ put in six minutes/ 2 points most likely the difference.

Vegas Sat-Thur. Wake up early Friday morning hammer down 65 to be with the faithful. Haven't missed one in Nashville yet. Its my BJW element.

I mean, at least Mizzou was spose' to bring a credible basketball program to enjoy playing against and a suckass football program to enjoy playing against...and neither really happened.

- Anyone else notcing A&M's Robert Williams getting Top 10 love in this loaded draft? I've barely heard a thing about the dude except for mock drafts.

- Spoke to Jerome and we're both pretty relieved that BBdk is staying in Bulleit County this weekend.

- Found a random sixer of West Sixth Christmas beer at DEPs. I hate saying goodbye to such a wonderful concoction.

- The 2010s SEC fundamentalist is so passe. I like the dudes still mad that Arkansas and SC got added. Even cooler is the redass still holding a grudge against Georgia Tech for leaving.

- I used to love Bockfest but it's gotten too big and crowded. Arnolds is just dumb this weekend.

-NBA Draft is stupid sometimes. I like him a lot, but Robert Williams has been 'drafted' (Tyus Thomas, Stromile Swift, etc, etc) about 30x in the lottery in the past 10-15 years, and usually from the SEC (West), ...only a few have worked out, at least relative to their pick.

Meanwhile a guy like Caleb Swanigan is putting up historic #s in the Big 10, a legit POY candidate on a good team, can shoot it, and isn't even in the 1st Rd on some mocks.

Along similar lines, is there any doubt at all Josh Hart falls to the Spurs at the end of the 1st?

* Mizzou has the potential to give a damn about basketball, and when they were good, folks showed up. That's about the only thing that school has going for it.

* There should be a bylaw in the SEC rules prohibiting the admission of any school where over 2% of adult male fans in attendance at football games wear jerseys. (No offense, Willy.) Florida's grandfathered in, I guess.

* Cats favored by 8 tomorrow. If I still bet, I'd place a small moneyline wager on A&M, just for the "at least I got some money out of it" angle.

* OSU favored by 1 over KU tomorrow.

* Love me some Arch Madness. All the mid-major tourneys this weekend, for that matter. Will be watching the Racers on the TV tonight, in fact.

* Boom ran a 4.51 and a 4.44 today. Will miss watching that guy in the open field on FALL SATURDAYS IN THE BLUEGRASS.
