Nice to know that this team can close down the stretch of a game, and having a clutch shot-maker like Monk is a huge asset in the NCAA-T.

....now, let's stop f*cking around for the first 15-20min of each game. OK? Thanks!

More like, let's put a lineup on the court that can score.

He won't get the credit but Cal coached a great game. The sub pattern in the second half was on point. Good win. I'm in vegas this weekend until Thursday but still trying to make the trip to Nashville. Not sure why any red blooded wildcat fan wouldn't.

The thing about this team is they are "gritty" and just dont give up. Could serve us well come March

Eat ****, Kevin Stallings.

Yeah, I know he's not at Vandy anymore. He can still eat ****.
My boss is from Pittsburgh. Claims the AD who hired Stallings at Pitt pretty much started negotiating with Oregon State as soon as it happened. If so, what a wonderful eff you out the door by an athletic director.

They're inexcusably awful. Jamie Dixon didn't leave the cupboard bare. Artis and Young can score the basketball like crazy. Sheldon Jeter is serviceable. I know the ACC is tough, but still.

o/u on the number of times Jon Rothstein says "THIS. IS. MARCH." on Twitter in the next 24 hours: 7.5

Impressed by Vanderbilt both times this year, and to think they could have Damian Jones and Wadrian Baldwin, not that I blame either of them for going in that draft. I don't think they lose anybody except Kornet, who I'm pretty sure was recruited by Eddie Fogler. I know LaChance and Fisher-Davis will be seniors so that could be quite the squad next year. I'm trying to convince myself that there's some hope for SEC basketball down the road.

KILLER action away from the ball on Monk's dagger 3 from the corner. Bam took out Kornet and Toye at the same time with the pic and the cut Monk made to shake Toye and get along the baseline was disgusting. I'm not sure who could have stayed with Monk after that cut and that screen.

Monk has double digit FTA in 3 of the last 4 games if anybody was looking for a tweak.

Man, happy for him, but that Willis proposal in real time is awkward. PA announcer immediately moved on to MOKH. Wasn't having it.

-Yes, our PA announcer is awful and kills excitement. Controversial?

-tin roof is the best current place to watch big UK games. So many cowboy boots and tight shirts

Who dragged in the trash?

To be fair, Ol' Rhonda did say his cok was small and brown, so in honor of the last day of Black History Month, we oughtta just let it slide this once. GYERO doesn't need the ultra left wing (wcc31) picketing, reminding us that Black Posters Matter. I'm of the opinion that All Posters Suck. #BHM #BPM whatevs. Sorry.

Of course, Mashburned liked his post. I guess he really misses the good doctor.

Awesome win, even if heart attack and insomnia inducing.

What has happened to Fox? Two months ago he was the best player on the team and playing smart, efficient ball. Now who knows what the hell he is doing out there.

Kid needs to get it together quick. He's got serious money riding on the line based on his performance in the next month.

The Rupp PA announcer's ridiculous inflection has always reminded me of Steve Buscemi's Mad Hatter character from SNL. Sometimes I'll envision that's who's sitting courtside when I hear him, and it's a good chuckle.

I think the issue with Fox is just how much time he has missed at this point. I bet he hasn't had two straight weeks of practice in 2017. Just like Maverick in Top Gun, just keep sending him out there. Eventually things will start clicking again.

Time to tighten up the rotation. Play the big three freshmen. Play Briscoe. Play the seniors. Let Gabriel and Humphries get Wiltjer/Vargas minutes. No one else need apply. This isn't Communism!

Last night was just as good a win as Saturday. I think because we really haven't had a real senior day in years that we forget that more often than not the team comes out flat or drained to start the game. That 1994 Florida game they cited as the last 19 point comeback was also a senior day. We just couldn't buy a bucket for the first 16 minutes. IMO you just toss that out as an anomaly.

Storms coming. Remember to listen to your weatherman and take cover, but don't forget to send in those pic and videos of the tornado tearing up your town so they can play it on TV! Never ceases to amuse me.

Twenty years ago today we got hit with one of the worst floods in the history of this state. Had been a mild winter like this one and we had hardly missed any school. Everyone was pumped about not having to go until June and then we missed two straight weeks of school because of the floods. I made the paper feeding some cows trapped on a small hillside.

Wind is blowing something crazy here. Trees falling over in the woods by the house. Damn.

Of course my wife leaves at 6:55 am and announces she plans to "beat the storm" to work because she's completely insane. Thankfully she made it safely. Beat the storm to Lexington by a whole 3 minutes.

The Senior Night lethargic performance where we start slow used to be annual thing like CoolCat said. Vandy has been playing good ball the last month or so.

Liked the fight. We were playing stifling team defense the last 28 minutes. Also, this team is showing some really solid offensive efficiency in winning time. Briscoe was playing really smart. If we can just get Fox to resemble something like he was one month ago and Willis to start hitting shots. That's a lot of what ifs but it can happen.

Monk just had that killer look in his eye down the stretch. He's special. He wants the moment.

LaChance looks like someone Christian Bale will play and win an Oscar for. Can't remember if he won anything for The Fighter but I kept seeing LaChance jumping out a window onto a pile of trash when they showed a close-up of him.
