Shutting down RUSSISSSDICULUS in the 2nd half in Indy and then Stauskus 2 days later will always stand out to me for Hawkins along with this game..

Was in a debate on Twitter about this with Myron Medcalf and KU fans. Big 12 has fluffed up teams that collapse in Big 12. Baylor gets to #1 and loses 5 of 7. Oklahoma last year is supposed to be great, proceeds to lose 6 times in conference. A few years ago KSTATE loses last game of season to tie (instead of win) Big 12 with Kansas. If Florida or UT under Pearl is any good, they don't lose home games to Johnny Jones or get beat by a shifty Mizzout.
Overall, Big 12 is better than SEC, but teams in that league hand the title to KU.
