40 points and 30 rebounds for Bam this week. Add that to his outstanding game against Tennessee and making the two biggest plays against Georgia.

Is that good?
It's not bad.

So if we're being honest, Briscoe isn't changing how he plays. Isn't happening.

If we're not scoring in transition (other teams have adjusted a bit), we pretty much can't have Fox/Briscoe/Monk out there together for extenddd stretches. Let Hawkins start and Briscoe be his destined NBA role--combo 6th man. Please.

9/8 with 2 turnovers. I love Hawkins but don't be silly. Anyone have Briscoe's +/- today?

In the 2nd half today:
Monk 30
Duke 29

Have we as a nation decided yet who would win between Duke and the 2015 Wildcats? Is K a good coach or just a great recruiter?

Have always loved listening to Bill Walton call a game, but this recent push by ESPN to showcase his weirdness is annoying. Just let Bill be Bill, enough with the skits.

From Sunday:

We are still sitting at #10 overall with the committee IMO. We were 12 but Florida State and Virginia have dropped like a rock since the initial seedlings were announced. Should pass Florida if we beat them to get to #9. Gonna be tough to get into the top 8 unless one of those teams goes on a two game losing streak.

So......still a 3 seed.

Most of the teams ahead of us are in the same conferences. They all can't win their conference tournaments and many of them have games against each other to close out their conference regular seasons. Villanova and Gonzaga are the only teams ahead of us who won't bump into other teams ranked higher than us. We win out and the rest should shake out for us. Now that is not a given obviously, but it puts us in control of our own seed. Just win baby.

The preview bracket:

This Week:

Villanova - 1-1 Loss to Butler

Kansas - 1-0 (Texas game in progress)

Baylor - 1-1 Loss to Iowa State (1-3 in their last 4) Still have to play WV

Gonzaga - 2-0

North Carolina - 2-0 Pounded Louisville this week

Florida State - 2-0; 0-2 the prior week

Louisville - 1-1 Loss to North Carolina

Oregon - 2-0

Arizona - 1-0 Hosts UCLA in prime time tonight

Virginia - 1-1 Have lost 6 of last 9

Florida - 1-1 Loss to Kentucky; Starting C out for season

Kentucky - 2-0 Haven't lost since the preview bracket came out.

Kansas, Baylor, and West Virginia all play in the same conference tournament. Two are guaranteed one more loss.

UNC, Duke, Louisville, and Virginia all play in the same conference tournament. Three are guaranteed one more loss. UNC and Duke play each other in the regular season. Virginia has fallen out of contention.

UCLA, Oregon and Arizona play in the same conference tournament. One of them is guaranteed at least one more loss. Arizona and UCLA play tonight, with someone obviously taking a loss.

I would contend we have safely moved ahead of the following teams since this thing was put out:

Baylor
Florida State
Virginia
Florida (key injury is a factor)

I don't think anyone has done enough to jump us. Therefore that would make us the number 8 overall seed, which translates to a 2 seed.

Briscoe's slap was an all world ***** move. But I still laughed because of how well he pulled it off. Still hate his **** game, though.

UCLA has probably jumped us at this point.

1's and 2's right now are looking like Gonzaga, Villanova, Kansas, UNC, Louisville, 2 of Oregon/Arizona/UCLA, and us.

Maybe. The Pac-12 teams seemed to be generally less thought of than the other leagues based upon the initial projection.

Anybody know who would have the tiebreaker for #1 seed between UK and UF if we drop one and end up even in the standings?

His point was that we were stuck with a 3 seed being our ceiling and in the week since he made that post 5 teams ahead of us have lost games. I never contended we'd be a 2 seed by Saturday, just that a 2 seed is still our ceiling. Just have to win out. If we're 29-5, SEC Champions, and SEC Tournament Champions we won't be a damned 3 or 4 seed.

Anyone have Briscoe's +/- today?

This is from memory but I believe Jones said on the postgame show that Briscoe had the highest +/- on the team for last two games.

If true, I'm just going to go ahead and wipe my *** with that stat, thank you very much.

Just looked up tiebreakers. Head-to-head is a draw so you go to record against the standings.

We're 1-0 against USC and UF split, so I guess that gives us the edge in a tie. Hopefully won't come to that.

Despite becoming the focal point for GYERO's redass, the Cats actually performed best when Briscoe was on the floor today. Best +/- in the game.

It sure as hell wasn't pretty, though.

I'll take 3-6 fg, 9 pts, 8 rebs, 2 ast and only 2 TOs. Especially no 3pt attempts.

The game actually changed for the better when yours truly was on the new Boogie & Brow Cam.

Definitely much better when I'm on the big screen compared to Bonzo.

Joey Brackets has UCLA a 4 seed going into tonight. One of the worst OOC schedules of the top 16 seeds his reasoning.

All the tie breaker is for is tourney seeding. We would share the Title if we lose one and they win out.

Scored some lowers today and thought that was you up there on 'Lexi'. No way they would put your mug up on the hunk cam.

•Monk is the first freshman in UK history to have 30 points in four games in one season.

Have to appreciate this Arizona fanbase, right? I have no experience with them, but they appear fairly legimitate. Like the Arkansas of the west.

Speaking of Boogie and Brow you can get a free trial on NBA League Pass. Both looking good through 1 against Noel and Dallas. OKC coming up tomorrow.

Was standing up in the aisle talking to Clark in Section 37 before the game when somebody told us to sit down, as we were blocking his view.

Turned around, and it was Rick Barry.

So that was cool.

No, Willy, he was in the top row in Section 37. Was an ******* to me, but of all the people who have ever been an ******* to me, he's the greatest basketball player ever.

Also, you seemed to be enjoying yourself way too much with the Boogie & The Brow cam.

Watching BYU/Gonzaga and each team has a balding white dude and they are both pretty good. Mind bottling, really.
