Maria and her son Brian are coming to do my mulching in mid March. Going to have them remove a few small trees as well. Adding a couple of red maples.

The big addition to WildcatWilly's yard this year is a large pergola that will cover the stone patio and follow its curved contours. The pond will also be covered by this or perhaps its own small pergola.

2 of the 3 original goldfish are still swimming around in bliss, like BBdK in a bowl of gravy.

Getting rid of small yet overgrown junk trees make a huge difference. Probably the best bang for your buck (after mulch) on today's landscaping game.

I doubt Richie's Brian is a Gomez. But you never know, Pitino has brought quite a few more Latinos to Kentuckiana.

Can't wait for Trump to put an end to his recruiting, but that's a discussion for another time and place.

My Brian is a good dude. Does all of the translating and heavy lifting. His Mom is a botanical genius. Can also rebuild a rock wall like she's playing freaking Tetris.

I think the Kim Jong Nam assassination needs to get more run from GYERO. How could someone kill this man?

The man lost his spot in line to be a dictator of an entire country just to visit Disney World.

Cal is not going to force or guilt these guys into anything like it or not. That's his biggest sales pitch and has single handily crushed Carolina. He's openly admitted to advising a few players it's best they return. Selfishly I hope they all come back. IF as freshman they are 1st Rd picks the risk vs reward in coming back isn't. even. close. Lottery or not. You take the guaranteed money, work you *** off and hope to get that 2nd contract OR like Teague you take the money then hop overseas. Not very many cases of 1st rounders coming back and improving their stock, way more of the opposite happening. If you're not guaranteed then the decision changes but even then it's close because you all seem to forget: 1. they are on serious training/practicing limitations, 2. they are not getting compensated, 3. most importantly they have a finite time to play basketball, their dream, and get paid for it. Then you can come back and finish your education like Wayne Turner.

I mean our boy Morris is pulling high 6 figures for 10+ years now in China. That's worst case for most of the guys we're talking about.

Don't know Brian, but I assume he has floppy bangs and regularly attends our conference road games.

My arm still has some life in it... granted I haven't been throwing anyone BP countless hours yet.

Granted with girls soon to be playing 'organized' sports, I'd like to steer them clear of the dykish sport of softball... and volleying on the tennis court won't hit as close to home, either. Times like this I wish had a boy. Catching Field of Dreams on TV the other night didn't help. My old man's arm is completely shot and can't even play catch w/ me anymore. :( Some of my fondest memories as a kid were playing catch wit him right after dinner...talking about school/sports/randoms... Man.

Rawlings FTW, tho. Bet B-Rax's kid has some outrageously oversized Wilson A2000.

Sometimes I wish I kept my old lineman gloves, felt pretty invincible wearing fingerless padded gloves. Pretty sure I could pull them off today.

He has a very nice Mizuno and yes its probably half an inch too big. He's actually been using my ratty old Rawlings here lately. #leftyFamily. Not the prettiest glove but my god it is so soft. Gonna wait until summer and get him something real nice. Gonna try and head out to the jessamine county ballpark here when I get off work, holla if you wanna join, goose.

I dated a former Reds' daughter for a couple of summers in college. Talk about a household set up for recreational baseball fun: old MLB batting cage in the driveway, buckets of baseballs everywhere, and an entire family willing to play wiffle ball / home run derby / pickle, at the drop of a hat. I found a baseball in a silverware drawer once.

Also, one time, we were watching a movie in the dark in the basement and her dad and brother found it convenient to walk through the room with loaded handguns. There was a pesky raccoon afoot, IIRC.

It's hard for you to believe, I get it.

This analogy might make more comprehensible: Just imagine it was a Thoroughblades player and we played air hockey a lot. Same deal.

Columbia fancies itself as the heart of the Little Dixie region of Missouri. Don't think for one second I haven't noticed demographic shifts all but erasing the majority Virginia, Tennessee, and Kentucky ancestry of the area in the past 50 years.

Not gonna cut it, you Midwestern pricks

More jacked about this game tonight than any in a long time -- maybe all year.

2 more hours, and 15 minutes...and IT. IS. ON!
