The first time I met 73 was in January 2002 at the Northeast Y. Team Turmoil season. We were shooting hoops and the man went on a redass infused ballistic rant about Tubby Smith that even made me feel bad for Tubby and I never thought the guy was a good fit for the program.

The saddest part of this post? I was in my 20s. Weighed about 200 lbs. Played basketball every single day.

It was a great day in KSR history when UKFaninCincy organized a pizza parlor gathering for message board posters. SmokeyPearl, NinjaintheFort, among others attended and later posted pictures.

WCF for a bit. Sent windycatz a few free samples of Astroglide in the mail.

Someone created a really awful yet hilarious early photoshop/mspaint depiction of him with pizza all over his face from said event while Bob Huggins puked in a jail cell surrounded by beer cans. No match for Willy but the shittiness/content was [laughing]

Considering he's an attorney in Georgetown and you're either a resident or have Gtown related cookies then you're probably falling in his demographic setting for boosting posts.

Ran up a huge WildcatCalling bill my sophomore year. That led to my first cell phone. Free nights and weekends *****! (And snake)

MLK library was such a cluster touch that I just made up my sources for the Eng 102 papers.

Fam253 FTW.

Kastle Hall class FTL

Man I wish I could go back and give my young self some advice.

-Got my cell in 98, junior year. Basically when we started driving but we were essentially forbidden from using them unless we were in a severe car wreck which I assume would've actually prevented us from using them.

-Favorite cell ever was the early aught Nokia. That sucker was indestructible and could get a call out of a bunker.

-finally watched the highlights. That passing. Build on that and watch out.

Oh, I get it. Doesn't mean I have to like it.

Like most people, the last thing I need in my life is more lawyers.

YouKay swore that she would cease being a fan if UK hired Cal.

Proving she's not a traitorous sack of **** like UKO, she still posts on Rafters iirc...
TYREKE EVANS WAS AN ACCESSORY TO MURDER!

Oh, that mod email chain. Between that hot fire take and CMD losing his mind during the 20 or so minutes that it looked like it could have been Lorenzo Romar, that was a fun day.

Not that I blame CMD.

By Tubby's last 2 everyone had switched sides while most still liked Tubby it was time. I was just so depressed because we were in such a low point I was convinced we couldn't get a very good coach. Good thing Billy G dispelled those fears.

UKFanInIndy and I had dinner with Cincy (From Pikeville, not Cincy) a couple times. Solid guy. Wonder what happened to him.

UK went dry year 2 of my college career. Keg parties were the regular at all fraternity houses. Campus cops looked on as droves of underage drunk coeds would end the night screwing and puking all over campus. It really was a glorious time. That is until U.K. **** all over the Greek system.

Also was at UK when WT opened but the second floor cubicals at ML King library were always a great spot to relieve some dead week stress with a girlfriend. Almost was a right of passage during a late night study session with whoever you were dating at the time. Many a DNA covered desks probably had to be thrown away in the late 90s early 2000s.

I miss college.

FAM253 was the best. Brassow & Martinez were in that class with me and pretty much spent the entire hour trying get to get into random cute sorority girls pants.

I knew somebody who worked at a pharmacy near campus while Martinez was playing. Said he'd come in and buy several dozen condoms at a time.

UK basketball, so powerful it can get Gimel Martinez laid.

Buy condoms? Did you all not have free condoms in the nurses office or whatever? Little discrete brown paper bags stocked full of a variety pack and lube.

Here's a true story about one of the people at the job I just resigned from

He tested actuation controls that were removed from military aircraft - supported the aftermarket / repair and overhaul team .... and he was pretty much dumber than a damn bag of hammers

His network p/word was reset because he locked himself out

When our IT guy gave him the new password he locked himself out again

When they gave him another reset the IT guy came down to provide hands on assistance

So he personally handed the guy his new password

The password had the number "1" in it
As in -- the first freakin number in our numerical system of digits

The dude looked right at the password and somehow F'ed it up again

Finally he was just passed and told the IT guy that no matter what he does,,,,he can't get his computer to enter a "CAPITAL ONE"

That stupid mother trucker thought a "!" with the little baseline and diagonal bit meant it was a CAPITAL F'ING ONE

So that's what they called the dude ever since
Hey Jeffrey!! What's in your wallet, bro????

Hi Wyvern!

It's a Bellevue, KY reference. Ol' Chad is getting domesticated and is looking to put down some roots. His wife wants Mansion Hill, but his wallet wants Bellevue. Should be an interesting battle.

I have an amazing degree of ignorance about the Commonwealth outside of that little corner I grew up in
I went to Richmond and partied at EKU when I was a teenager -- may have stopped there for liquor a few times with my man, DA as well
Been to Lexington about 4 times

I think I've been to Danville once

I know nothing about anything west of....Somerset....I'm not sure it even really exists --

it's just that once I left -- I only came home to see family, you know
(and occasionally go break some **** up Corbin but that's about it)

I feel like I've missed out on some cool places

Hell, I missed graduating my Sr year at Middlesboro (because I failed math 2 or 3 times and then took a computer class thinking that counted.......it didn't....) ANYWHO

I worked my HS diploma off through Bowling Green, Ky and earned the diploma through them

and I've never even BEEN TO F'ING BLOWING GREENS!

life's funny

PS: started drinking about ab hour ago and haven't slept in two days..............the end result is an almost PERFECT balance of natural and unnatural chemicals where EVERY0DAMN-THING about posting on here is INTENSELY PLEASUREABLYE right now.......I feel like Edgar Allen Poe

So - I aced the phone interview and now plan to shake things up a bit for the in person visit

As a way to break the ice and not have any stereotypes put in place too early I am breaking out the following items for the visit:

1) Finger guns -- both damn hands......at least once per every turd response I provide

2) Lots of bubble gum --- chewing it eNTHUSIASTICALLY in an interview ALWAYS shows that you have ENERGY TO SPARE!!!!

3) Pet names for people on the panel -- showng them that I'm an informal kind of guy -- the kind of guy that you can TRUST..........I'm going with "TOOTS" for the ladies and "HOSS" for the boys

4) Lucky Pink Floyd T Shirt......

5) Liberal use of that "TSSSCK" sound that car dealers make when they wink at you and suck through their grimaced mouth and teeth

any other advice?

they asked for sample artifacts........maybe I could pull something up from the ol' Georgia Clay,,..otherwise I thought that was just some kind of "TVA JOKE" from them......

WHICH IS A GOOD SIGN

-GYERO have a preferred long sleeve athletic thermal undershirt shirt brand? I don't own a single one, and never have (for winter/spring golf mostly). Something that's not UA/$100 would be great.

Nike outlet... or you can sometimes find Nike/Adidas versions at Steinmart/Marshalls/TJ/etc.

Are you sure y'all weren't breaking the campus keg rule? As of the fall of 92 kegs were banned on campus. Unless that was part of the social probation which we were on at one point. I think that just involved staying out of trouble though.

I know there were no keg parties through the spring of 95 on campus.

[laughing]

There also was no coke or weed on campus, as those were also banned. Girls in dorm room was also against the rules. They wouldn't let us do anything!!!

You're so awful it's truly amazing. Can't imagine what your college experience was like.
I'm talking about kegs in the fraternity houses. They had people from the Dean's office inspect parties. I'm sure it loosened up but it sucked through 95.

You could have them but if you got caught with them then probation. Plenty of cases of beer and alcohol but no kegs.
