- New Orleans flight booked! First time since 2003, and also get to introduce the lass to PTI and the Big Easy. I'm pumped.

- @Joey Rupption yeah I've always loved east Newport. Mansion Hill is one of my favorite places in NKy, and with the trend of urban chic, of course, my millennial fiancé is all about it. There are some really cool spots within walking distance. I just don't know if we'll be able to find something that isn't a dump in our price range. I'm not a big fixer upper kind of dude. We'll see.

- Thoughts on Ryan Adams?

(and no F'ing "Summer of '69" jokes, UCL or MaxP!)
Everything you do, you do it for her from here on out basically

So the Wildcat Coal Lodge is the "worst dorm & housing" of any school Trae Young visited?

Didn't realize the place was that outdated.

If you read that on KSR, on down near the bottom, I think in an edit, they said his comments were made sarcastically because they couldn't really think of anything negative about Kentucky.

DISCLOSURE: I wasn't too impressed with Wildcat Coal Lodge when they built it. I'm sure it's extremely nice inside, but nothing seems too special about the building, and it certainly does not seem to have the same amount of character as the old Lodge. That fair? The old Lodge just seemed dope as touch.

Could have used a sawtooth roof and more teal to make it a Lexington icon I agree completely.

The new thing they're doing around here at EKU is minimalistic like cheap IKEA BS and telling you it's modern and chic and good for the environment. For example, this brand new science building is entirely concrete inside. They have a little sign on the wall explaining how this is an "Eco-friendly building" and blablalala. Ok, well your floors and walls are already cracked and it was opened maybe 2 years ago. Have fun fixing that pile up in 10-20 years.

All this cheap crap will fall apart and Brax will profit, I guess.

Stubbled upon Mizzen and Main dress shirts, and Christ, those things are unf*cking-real. It looks exactly like a nice dress shirt but feels exactly like you're wearing a golf shirt. A bit pricey, but worth it, IMO.

Had no idea such fabric existed in dress shirts until recently. They don't sell them at TJ Maxx or Stein Mart, so I was in the dark.

The old lodge had a sense of mystery to it looking at it from the outside. Like if you approached you would be gunned down by sentry guns.

These kids today and their fancy dorms. My dorm had no AC, coil heat and could probably survive a nuclear blast. I think it was my soph year we got cable internet which was the tits. High speed pron and napster? :fire:

The SBA office in the law school had high speed internet and was great for a Napster and crossword puzzle break during Administrative Law.

Used to hop on the World Wide Web in there and yell at people on the ESPN college basketball forum. Man, the anticipation you would build up waiting the 15 or so minutes for your post to go through and to see if there was a response. Such a natural high!

Was addicted to this in middle school on the ole dial-up -- was really my intro into the WWW and forum life...myself and KingCat ran that thread for a bit.

I was a message board phenom from the moment I logged on for the first time.

I don't know about you guys and your computer lab nonsense. I would leave the plush, beautiful confines of Haggin Hall, march myself to the W.T., check out those sweet IBM laptops and then go off somewhere (usually one of the private cubicles in the basement) and waste time/look at pron/not do anything productive. That's how it was done.

The computers right at the top of the main steps at WT was my spot. Needed to be as close to Ovid's as possible at all times. #SpicyBeefWrap

Also had a computer in my dorm and subsequent college apartments/houses b/c I wasn't poor.

-GYERO have a preferred long sleeve athletic thermal undershirt shirt brand? I don't own a single one, and never have (for winter/spring golf mostly). Something that's not UA/$100 would be great.

You young whippersnappers and your POP accounts and floppy disks. We had UKCC accounts and green text on black screens and we loved it.
