Never done a cruise and nervous to try. If I don't like it seems like it'll be an unescapable hell for 7 days. But I've heard good things.

If you are regularly hanging out with and having conversations with a 21 year old girl and don't want to gauge your ears out then you are not ready for a family.

I had to explain to a 19 year old what a CD-ROM is when looking for a computer to transfer files for them a couple weeks back. That kinda turned me off to the idea of trading in for a younger model, or that much younger should it not work out with the wifey.

She was smoke, though. Looked like Rhianna without the oversize Callaway driver forehead.

To be fair, CD-ROMs were up there so far as awful technology goes.

"Hey let's put everything on a wafer thin piece of plastic that you have to treat like a newborn or it gets scratched!"

Skipping to the next song rather than having to fast forward was pretty cool though.

Huh? CDs were awesome. Getting a disc man was one of the highlights of my childhood. I looked so f*cking pimp with my disc man on field trips.

-I love Monk but dude has to do more. I love Briscoe but dude has to stop trying to do more. I love Bam but get 10 boards a game. Geezus.

-Mulder... smh.

-About time to admit these dudes are ranked appropriately. Hopefully they can change my mind.

Not like we haven't been here before, fellas. Hang in there and grind it out until postseason. *sigh*

Just watched highlights of Lamelo Ball's 92-point performance last night. He didn't even run past halfcourt on defense, and his team gave up 123 points. What a *****.

Glad I'm not the only one who can't stand the Ball's. Melo's 92nd point was a fall away shot near half court with 10 seconds left up 20.

There was a chick who posted on Maggard's old site who passed away a few months ago...whoever is running her Facebook, still posts > 5 times a day. Weirds me out.

Fox played a pretty nice and true "point guard" game last night, I thought. Even early in the season when he was on fire, he wasn't really running PG (not his fault), he was basically just running.

-I don't think we're very good, and I don't think we are going to become very good either. Luckily, you don't have to be to make the Final 4 and/or win it all. Just look at UConn's teams, our marginal teams, and others that happen on a yearly basis (Umm, Syracuse made the touching Final 4 last year (23-14) and shouldn't even have gotten a bid) -- you just have to get HOT, which we are clearly capable of doing.

That doesn't mean I'm going to sit around in February and pretend like I'm enjoying this team, b/c I'm not.

Everyone keeps comparing this team to other Cal teams and missing the obvious one. Last year. That team was a ****** defensive team too with a great back court and a shallow front court. How'd that work out?

Just watched that Ball video. I mean 92 points is impressive b/c of the volume, but 50 of those were on layups b/c he was cherry picking. Whatever. Ball hog. Hate players like that.

Q. Can you remember a guy as athletic as Malik going two games without a rebound? Can you figure out why?
COACH CALIPARI: Probably should ask him that question. Probably a good one to ask.

Monk has had 9 games with 1 rebound or less, 4 games with no rebounds.[sick]

ZOMG BALL RACKED UP 92 JUST INCREDIBLE no it isnt online morons, he jacked up 126 shots, even hitting 50% and all 2's he would have scored 120+

we would have lost last night had Gabriel not had a career game, right? need JDrum to update the defensive ratings, though. in my 40+ years of living I've never watched a Kentucky team give up as many uncontested layups as these ***'s do. astounding that noone at any point snaps and puts someone lollygagging down the lane for an easy deuce on their *** instead.

Brandon Eddlestone looked like the most out of place guy of all-time last night. He looked like a 6th man for a marginal intramural team. Puffy, slow, and overall just awful. I can't believe that guy played minutes for a SEC team last night.

Reminds me of Jack Taylor (Grinnell College). Scored 138 points in a game. That team's entire strategy was to pick a player to rack up huge amounts of points. They treated the entire thing like an arcade game. Also pretty wack, but that's D3 -- which is basically glorified intramurals.

That ball kid is a legit major D1 prospect. Bush league, imo. Play defense, you loser.

The upper levels of D3 aren't "glorified intramurals"...sorry, got to stand up for my school. :boxing: Grinnell sucks though.

Bo Ryan won the D3 basketball championship 4 times in the 90s. Those teams were pretty effing good. I will now go wash my mouth out with soap for mentioning Bo Ryan in a positive light.

Of course the "upper levels" aren't. But (as has been joked about on here countless times), nearly every poster on here could have played D3 ball somewhere. And many of you could have played well. For a good team. Overall, it's glorified intramurals.
