Early in the year this team wanted to embarrass people. Didn't matter who it was, they came out, waxed and waxed till ENG and SKJ got in the game.

I would like a one game experiment. Remove Cal from the sideline entirely and just let these guys play on their own. I'd be willing to bet we look much better.

Obviousl, Cal needs to coach, but it sure seems like he's lost them completely on their current path. Needs to hit a reset button and start over with them, somehow.

If only we'd recruited a 6'10 230 pound McDonald's AA to go with this squad. We sure could use a guy like that to help down low.

There's some major confidence issues with this group as a whole right now, imo. Get that at the beginning of the year the competition wasn't all that great and teams in your own league have you scouted to a tee but still... We look like a shadow of the team that played Ole Miss on 12/28.
So you're saying Johnny Jones may be rolling into town at just the right time?

Hmm, on second thought it seems everyone is turning into an *******. Maybe I shouldn't post my hilarious memes.

This was the point I said you were missing out on when it comes to some political talk... politics will make Gyero much more (a) mean and (b) personal.
Now, we don't actually want anyone discussing their views but if some general politics talks brings in personal attacks and general assholery... so be it.

It happened last year when he got tossed @ South Carolina, and it might have been the best game we played all year.

Granted, Tyler Ulis running things definitely helps, but we seemed considerably looser with Cal watching from the locker room.

SO I GUESS MITCH SHOULD JUST FIRE CAL HUH WHY DON'T YOU GO ROOT FOR LOSERVILLE YOU TARD FAN LOOSER!

Obviously, he's been in this spot before and was able to figure it out. And as we saw in November/December, this team has an awfully high ceiling. But it's frustrating as **** to watch a group as dynamic and talented as this underperform so dramatically. I don't doubt he can get them to turn it around. Call it a tweak, call it "they figured it out," call it whatever. Just do it.

Good Lord we're down to #15 in the country while UofL is up to #4. That just won't stand.

Do we really need coaches in basketball? They just get in the way imo. "Run this play! Do fundamentals! Be more team!" Tiring and lame, if you ask me.

For a simple turkey+salami it's solid. Nothing spectacular just on the way back to the office from the chiro.
Curious why you go to a chiro. Always get like they were quacks to a degree and just trying to get you to set regular appointments instead of "fixing" you.

I think what irks me about that interview is he was calling him Cal and not coach. He is coach gd it.

He doesn't ask me to come regularly or even suggest it. I've had back issues since I was 6 and they're the only people that could help it. So I've gone according to need since then. Some times weekly most of the time a few times per year.

We all can have different opinions, and we do, but doesn't bother me in the least. Cal, coach, John Vincent, idgaf what a player calls him, just win baby.

This has nothing to do with above comment i made above but Monk is a different type of guy. “I wanted to switch my number to 5 because when God made the earth in seven days, the fifth day was when animals began appearing on earth,” says Monk of the number switch last season. “I watch Animal Planet a lot and I’m actually really into the way African wildlife animals like cheetahs and hyenas move.” Some UK fans don't understand that he's basically a country bumpkin, most do, but some do not. Probably not your typical well spoken guy we always like to talk about and he seems to laugh even when asked a question. Doesn't excuse his actions but i can see him being a guy doing that before others. I give him a pass on the Saturday incident.

Grown men and women referring to anyone as "coach" just makes me [sick].
The players should definitely call him coach. I don't give a **** what anyone else calls him. It's not really a big deal just sounded weird Monk calling him Cal when we have heard other players correct themselves into calling him coach in the past when reporters bombard them with questions about "Cal".

Wow, love that guy. He would have your back if **** went down. Fox would put his hair in a ponytail and jet, call an uber or some ****, imo.

Him and Jamal were different, but both really enjoy playing with smiles on their faces. I love that. Even more than dudes like wall or boogie who would play to *murder* the opponent, which I also love. Just different types of cats, Murray and Fox.

Not sure, actually helped. Assume because my flexibility was better. Like most back problems they don't know why I get them, what initially caused it, and it comes/goes randomly.
