How many times were guys simply stripped clean of the ball taking it to the rim last night?

I mean, I counted several. Time for the football pads I guess, because our guys are huge gashes attacking off the bounce. Never seen anything like it.

Even Bam shows poor fundamentals as he brings the ball down low while making his move, allowing other ppl to gobble him up. Mikan drill ATKOT... Keep the ball up high, bubby. Grief. That's Big Man 101.

My personal favorite are the multiple travels every game.

I'm starting to hate Briscoe.

You're right, toughness can only be measured by overall team success and MKG is the toughest MF on the planet. I concede both points.

I'm done arguing now though. Gonna go cheer myself up by watching old Charlotte Bobcats playoff highlights on YouTube.

With all due respect to your MKG's, Ulis' and Harrelson's coming in to toughen up this bunch, I think we go with this guy.....

Wojo our guards a bit and then make Bam shat his Nike briefs.

For f*ck's sake, 73.... It's pretty much a consensus opinion by anybody that knows basketball that Ulis and Booker playing down the stretch against Wisky probably solidifies the win.

And any attempt to compare last year's team to this year's is just lazy and stupid. [eyeroll]

Maybe maybe not but UK was second in efficiency all year in winning time to dun dun dun Wisconsin. I get the retrospect thing but not sure benching the kid who hit some of the most clutch shots ever in UK history in a close final 4 game was the right move. Its easy to judge in hindsight tho. Its cool to hate the twins I guess but how many starting back courts have lead their school to 2 straight final 4s? Probably not many.

As for this years team. Yeah I don't know. I was taking a cautionary approach going into the season and was doing ok with it til we started murking everyone and I got caught up in the hype. Now I regret that. I mean nothing we are doing ****** is unfixable but man it seems like that will take a herculean effort to do it with several guys buying in defensively.

There's still time. The thing is Cal has built up more than enough clout on the recruiting trail to bench some 5-star *** and no one will say a word because everyone knows his record on how he handles talent. He's going to get one of two reactions, either they won't like being embarrassed and get **** right or they'll pout even more but at least you know what you've got and you can tell him we can't rely on you. But there's a lot of problems, Briscoe plays with effort but without a brain, how many times can you go inside to a.) throw it away, b.) get it blocked,c.) miss the lay-up. Archie Goodwin thinks you suck. And quit talking **** like the other team being soft or running your mouth with refs watching in the final minute of a one possession game. Derek Willis needs to be more Bullitt county on the court and less off. Fox will be fine, he's just a little dinged right now. Bam isn't nearly bad as Skal but he's just a complementary piece at this point, simplify it for him. We have been incredibly blessed with Cousins, Davis and KAT. Big men usually need time to develop.

My point was probably more about Ulis running the point down the stretch than Booker at the 2. In the critical 4 minute stretch of the 2H (7min to 4min), which had UK go up 60-56, Andrew took (and missed) 4 shots to Aaron's 1. Anybody that thinks Ulis goes hero-ball down that stretch is lying...

As much as I appreciate the support, this isn't true. Ulis had a mediocre night and Booker was getting roasted by Decker all game. The Harrisons are imo two of the most underrated players to come through Lexington and riding them down the stretch was the right move.

We lost that game because Cal took the air out of the ball down the stretch.

Play your hearts out and lose a close one on the road. Whatever. Good effort and move on.

Get punked on the road, and laugh on the bench down 20? GTFO.

This sucks.

My 2nd grade team did just play their hearts out and over their heads though...so that helps a lot.

The one positive about the Wisconsin game is that people don't talk about the Duke game as much anymore.
