It's easier to get mad at the guards when they mess up but Bam has been an absolute disappointment for a few weeks.
I think Cal needs to jump up and down and scream like a madman more.
The offense ought to revolve around the perimeter shooting of Monk, Willis, and Mulder comboed with Briscoe and Fox's ability to get in the paint. Forcing it around Bam isn't going to work. He isn't nearly skilled enough to be the center of an offense.
Bam doesn't *suck* in the sense that he is just completely f'n awful. He's just not skilled enough to be the focal point of an offense. He is a complimentary player. We looked great in those earlier games when he was getting single digit shot attempts.
Hope Cal talks actual X's and O's with the next few coaches on his podcast and takes some notes to fix this mess.

Looks like our star Freshman are starting to have the Ben Simmons, why did I have to come to college attitude.
It's a good thing the NCAA isn't going to penalize us for games played while Cal is too busy recording podcasts, signing books, and cooking with Blue Apron to coach.
Bam isn't very alpha, either. I don't think you force him to be the guy when he clearly doesn't want that role.

We've had two players where the post shot was remotely efficient, Cousins and KAT. Cousins was good because he often rebounded his own miss.

I'm completely indifferent toward Bam. He's fine but it's difficult running your offense though a post player that can't finish back-to-the basket. It's kind of amazing that on everything besides dunks he's a below the rim player.
Patrick Patterson will have a better NBA career than Bam.
Does anybody know how "Bam" got his nickname? Seems kind of weird for a grown *** man to be compared to a cartoon baby...
