I"m getting worried they may actually have to fire him.

It's entirely possible Bryant, OG, JBJr, and RJ bounce...which would land them in the CBI in '18.

What's funny about the Shootout over the last few years is UC has managed to grab the "not quite lovable scrappy underdog" role from XU.

XU going to the Big East and the infamous "we straight gangsta" post game speech helped with that.

Man, XU is ishing the bed this year. Good to see, fans were getting uppity recently. Know your role and whatnot.

If it makes you feel better, UC fans have done a terrific job of tweeting about final fours from years that occurred before they were born at anything and everything Xavier related for the past week or so.

Not going to win many games when you give up 30 second chance points, even with a night like Bluiett's. Shame... a hell of a performance and nice kid to boot.

- Sorry friends, but I'm in hour 26 of the stomach flu so I won't be coming down tomorrow. This sucks. :weary: I'm so pissed. First time I've called into work two days in a row my entire career.

- Still remember seeing that "payback" sign in the crowd at Rupp for that game. Got me jacked. There was no way Kansas was winning that game.

- As usual, I don't even know whats being argued here.

HOLY **** IT IS ALMOST FEBRUARY THOUGHTS AND MEANDERINGS ON THIS YEAR'S SQUAD:

  • These are the doldrums of the basketball season. Scheduling Kansas in Rupp at the end of January was genius. We are going to pillage those bastards.

  • Gabriel is the key to the season. His ceiling is through the roof and the kid plays his balls off. He's just not very good right now, but he's thisclose to being dyn-o-mite. I wish he was a two year player. 20 years ago we'd have that guy as a junior and he'd be first team all-american. Without him being good, we don't get 9.

  • Nobody wants to be reminded of Billy Clyde's ******** but there is a lot of "break 'em down, then build 'em up" to Cal. We are (hopefully) just getting started with the build 'em up phase right about now.

  • This team needs Mulder for about 5 minutes a game. No more and no less.

  • Why in the f*** are we not better defensively? On paper, we should be very, very good. We can never be great because we don't have a rim protector but we should be a damn sight better than we are. What. The. F***.

  • Fox is better than Monk but Monk has far better hair.

  • I normally hate when Cal goes overly big, but I'd be tempted to bring Briscoe off the bench and start Willis and Gabriel together for a game or two just to see what happens. Or hell, start the big Aussie over Briscoe.

  • Thank God this is a down year for college basketball because I don't think this team is all that great on the grand scale but we are certainly good enough to win it all this year.

Fox & Monk is just a damn good duo name.

It works for anything: a buddy cop drama, an 80s band, a backcourt, a law firm that doesn't play by the rules but has a heart of gold. Anything really.

Fox & Monk is just a badass name.

Fox, Monk & Bam.

A down year for college basketball?? WTF are you talking about. This is one of the most balanced, competitive years in a long time. While there may not be that one or 2 teams that are dominant like in 15, there are at least a dozen teams that I wouldnt be shocked to see win it all. Probably more. Hell, the ACC alone has 5 teams that I would not be a bit surprised if they cut the nets down. Ive watched more college hoops this year than I have in forever because the matchups are excellent and there are a ton of REALLY good basketball players and an extremely deep draft crop. Its far from a down year.

Fair point in that it is highly competitive. I mean that there are no great teams, just a lot of very good ones.

I do agree that it seems like there are more good/intriguing games non a nightly basis than there has been in a good while. With the exceptions of Friday and sometimes Monday, pretty much every day is loaded with several goodies.

The Art Long punching a horse cop storyline is one of my favorite sports knucklehead storylines. My favorite part is that he allegedly hit the horse four times. Like a jab or two couldnt even shake the beast- he unloaded 4 times.

1. Location/Area
2. Star rating/reviews
3. Size/amenities
4. Price

That's my hotel list on how we book something. Or if the pics just look really dope i'll book based on that alone.

Richie gonna see the Cats win a game in person this year or nah? If we get clipped this weekend, may be time to call it a year on personal attendance you jinxing ***.

Can't be overstated what Blair O'Neal has done for "pretty good but not tour caliber" golfers that just happen to be hot blondes. She was way out in front of the trend but spurred on a slew of others who seemingly keep popping up on Instagram on a weekly basis. Cool, imo.

I dont know the deets on Scott Charlton getting axed from twitter but his work shouldve been protected among UK fans. He's a treasure to the BBN for his in-game/post game videos. Glad he's back up and running with another account, lets try and not F it up.
