On the subject of Karl Towns...

Saw last night that when Minnesota beat the Clippers it was their first win in 11 games decided by 4 points or less, which is just tragic. But I've seen a couple of those and Minnesota's biggest problem is Andrew Wiggins, who is a loser. Nobody in the league insists on taking difficult shots when an easier one is available more than Wiggins. Last night was the first time where it looked like they realized that Towns, not Wiggins, is the man on that team. Or maybe everybody but Wiggins realizes it. Hate watching Towns establish position on the block for automatic points, only for Wiggins to take a contested 19 footer.

But I hope he proves me wrong because I want to see Towns and the Wolves do well.

Non political, unless you are a vegan *****: Anyone know where I could buy bone marrow in Louisville? Hoping there's a decent local butcher shop that doesn't require me driving to Bardstown.

Trump moved his clothing line back from China, Mexico, India, Vietnam, and Pakistan yet, or nah?

No joke, we have a Trump Home brand (?) velvet throw blanket at home for the couch, which we had no clue it was such a thing until recently when she washed it and noticed the tag...and it's the softest & most comfortable blanket ever. She got it at some bargain mart type place, and we've since ordered several (again, before she noticed the tag).

Highly recommend if you want to make comfort great again. I'd buy it if it was made by Hillary's home goods company, it's really that good.

* Clinton, Bush, Obama......policies aside, those are 3 very cool, young living past presidents.

* richie --> you brought up Sturgill Simpson's Sea Stories the other day. Seriously, listen to the song while reading the lyrics. It's brilliant. Tongue-in-cheek account of traveling the world as a naval/military grunt.

* Frank Martin is abolutely the #1 dude in all of college basketball -- including players -- that I wouldn't want to piss off. I'm terrified of that guy.

* Andrew Harrison, in 25 minutes a game, is averaging 7 points and 3 assists, on 30% shooting. Glad he's hanging around the league, but he really should be pinching his pennies, imo.

* Some Troubadours for your listening pleasure...

Republicans have to actually govern and lead. Should make for some interesting times. I mean, will Mitch McConnell filibuster his own bills in the next 4 years?

I'm also pretty sure we will all be paying the same in taxes 4 years from now and healthcare premiums are still going to go up. Really look forward to the annual healthcare thread on The Paddock.

-What is right wing talk radio going to talk about now? GOP in control, Clinton's marginalized...what's next?

-Stepdaughter somehow concussed herself while running from a restaurant into her dad's van in the rain last night. Dumbest injury I have heard of in a long while.

I’m not going to crush Wiggins. 21 years old… 3rd year guy… decent defender (which says a lot for someone his age) … averaging 20+/game on ok shooting. Yeah he takes some bad shots but he’s also on a team with a PG that can’t/won’t shoot. Now, he’s a mid-range player in a 3-point league so there is legit concern but I’m interested in how he can grow. Way too early to call that guy a loser.

-He's also a rookie starting PG, PTI(pti).

Reading the lyrics while listening to Sturgill is actually a great idea...and the only way to understand his amazing songwriting, it seems.

-OG out for the year...ouch.

That's sad, but not nearly as much as Watson for Creighton, that's just terrible for him and that team. They're really good, or were.

Top 5% of hot women? Even worse take than Chief's.

Top 5% of all women, maybe. But that's only because there are so many disgusting fatties and third world trolls.

She's not hideous, but she is nothing to write home about.
