SKJ is suffering from terrible haircut disease. If he'd lose the hightop fade, he'd be 10% better, guaranteed.

PREDICTION: Hamidou is way too good for Cal to leave on the bench. He's a 3 in this offense and he will go Django Unchained at some point.

Diallo has 7 foot wingspan? Seems like he would have all of the goods to be a really good defender but there's the freshmen learning curve issue.

I'm just excited we have a true "wing" for the first time in what seems like forever.

Marques Bolden at Duke has a 7'6 wingspan and he sucks. Skal had a 7'2 wingspan and was the biggest POS in the history of college basketball. If we want to hype a recruit can we please use something other than wingspan?

Our entire team has great wingspan currently but can't do jack **** on the ball defensively.

So who gives a ****?

Not to mention things that were never a foul for four years of high school and three years of college are now fouls. I'm not complaining about the change, just stating that older players would logically have the most trouble adjusting.

Whatever. There are some glaring concerns on D but some of this is a January lull. Even the 2012 team went through the motions and that engine didn't start to roar until late January.

I honestly think half of our fouls are 40ft plus away from the basket. Bumps on press, offensive board fouls, etc. Drives me insane.

I just don't think we can do a good job of feeding into the post. How many of his attempts are a result of penetration and finding him? But I do think that Fox is getting real good at penetrating over and over so maybe it opens it up for Bam. IDK.

As of January 15 we have some concerning defensive issues. But if the 15 Duke team who I thought was terrible defensively most of the year learned to play good enough defense to win it all this UK team can. If not we can not win 6 games in March playing like this.

I would however rather have a team that puts lots of points on the board and needs work defensively than have a team that struggles to score but plays great defense as the latter is much more difficult to remedy.
