-Rothstein's good for two things: reminders about the evening's games("games to watch", "under the radar games", etc.), and little-known stats. His takes are wack, but I keep him around just for the info.

-Always feel like Maryland should have a better athletics program than it does. Great conference, terrific local recruiting area in D.C. and Baltimore, a good bit of Under Armour money, major media market, etc. Yes, they have a title in hoops, but it seems like their FB/BB programs consistently underachieve given all they have to offer.

-R.I.P. Tom and Chee. Never made it over there, but never heard any outstanding review of it either. Stores closing all over the place, just two years after making it on lists of the up-and-coming new dining franchises. Fifteen minutes of fame now down to ten for restaurants, it seems.

-So this FB recruiting class really is gonna finish strong, huh? Bowden committing Saturday, very little talk of any current commits even looking around, and a few more four-stars out there within reach. I mean, it's football recruiting, so who knows, but they seem to be capitalizing off 7+Louisville about as well as could be hoped for at this point.

I ate at that Tom Chee the week it opened and it was already filthy inside. Saw that as a bad sign and didn't bother going back. Food was fine - not great.

I mean, it was good..but just way over priced imo.

Dude runs and cuts just like Cobb. It's unreal how similar their games look; not a burner, but just sees the field perfectly.

Benny in the Wildcat with Bowden in motion :pimp:

The last time I was there I sort of felt the staff was getting a bit surly, kind of like a Richie hipster bartender...

RE: All -inclusive honeymoons
Personal opinion is that as long as you go to at least a decent resort- the destination wont really matter if its Mexico, Jamaica, Costa Rica, etc. Beach, drinks, pool, ok resort food.

We've done the Hyatt AI in Jamaica a few times and its been great. Done an Iberostar in Mexico and it was fine.

Lexington this weekend. First trip back in about a year. Pretty excited about it. Good buddy and his wife are expecting so we are hosting a baby shower- planned out by the guys. All gifts will be loaded up in there car upon arrival, they are to open when they get back home. Then we are going inside to watch the basketball game, drink some pops, and then it is over.

Some talk of getting out a bit Saturday night if any of you locals want to mix it up a bit.

We are on our second CSR credit card and should have about 300k points to play with for the next Europe run in the fall. Good travel slate for the upcoming year after slowing down the last 12 months. Lexington a few times, Augusta for The Masters, Louisville for Derby, Chicago for the 1st week in June, Euro-trip in the fall. Shaping up nice, assuming my wife will be able travel the entire time.

"Shoe Dog" Is really good so far. About halfway through it. Phil Knight lived the dream post college/pre-Nike. What a dude.

5 pounds of any food item that isnt being grilled, is absurd.

Had a buddy just do the Breathless AI in Punta Cana. He said it was not exactly what they had expected. Fun, but a full on adult rager.

I've done the Melia resorts twice, and have been impressed with the facilities, food, and drink.

I suppose you all can come to this baby shower if you bring a gift. You know the guy, too.
We should start a GYERO revolution of randoms that don't know the couple and bring no gifts showing up to couples showers. Maybe the hens would then stop hosting couples showers.

"Honey, who invited the weird guy in the corner who is wearing a UNC polo, smells of Dakkar Noir, and keeps hitting on my friends?"

"Babe, you invited all your friends so I included some of my intranet buds as well."

Like screwing up the laundry on purpose.

We will be at the game. Whose baby shower? I'm blanking on any pregnant friends.

wcc, we went to Le Blanc in Cancun a couple of years ago and it was really nice. It had one of the best spas I've ever been to. Southwest flies to Cancun and I believe Cincy is getting Southwest flights.

FWIW, I've had 2 friends go to Costa Rica on vacation and came back saying it wasn't that great. Super hot and humid, jungle and bugs everywhere.

The Sandals resorts on Antigua and Saint Lucia are unreal.

That TOM + CHEE commercial with the greasy hipster touting "IT'S A GRILLED CHEESE . . . ON A DONUT" that used to always run back-to-back (as if they bought 30 seconds of air time but only made a 15 second commercial) were enough for me to never want to go there.

Shocked that it's closing.

Don't overthink the honeymoon. You're going there to rest, be on a honeymoon, eat and drink too much, etc.

Find a beach and relax. Not that hard.

Now table centerpieces, THATS where you need to lose your ****.

-80 knows the owner of honeymoons, just ask him.

-Cal to see Bagley tonight. Has there been any smoke about him reclassifying to 2017? With Bamba the only post prospect left on the table, and that seeming like no sure thing, wonder if there's any chance Marv could suit up next year.

-Actually, wouldn't mind if that Carmody honk that he's looking at for 2018 could reclassify, too. Kid's a shooter, and could come in and fill that role without being asked to do too much else.

-STL restaurant recs? Will have one or two nights free there next month. Already eating once on The Hill, so something different might be nice. One night I'm heading to a Blues game(tentatively), so anything around the arena would work well, too.

- IMOs is terrible and should be avoided at all costs. Sauce is ketchup, crust is fine but not spectacular, and the cheese is tougher than the crust. Bland and odd consistency. WHAT A LOCAL QUIRKY TREAT

- Brax is a prime example of babies having babies. What was he, 13 when he had his first? sch @ that goober
