-Go back and forth of Emma Stone, of course she's hot but then sometimes I'm like her mouth and eyes are too big. Red heads, though.

Not sure I've really wasted the time thinking about Emma Stone. Meh

Westworld was interesting, can't say I really love it though.

Some great Pearl Harbor shows on yesterday. Shew

Ulis a "floor general" on NBA Jam??

:joy::joy::joy:

99% certain FLOOR GENERAL wasn't a setting when that video game debuted in 1992.

He's ridiculously fast, and a great shooter. Learn NBA Jam, loser.

The NBA Jam iPhone app has rosters from the beginning of the 2014 season, Bledsoe may be the best player on the game.

The very rare post from me. Hi guys!

*The UCLA game sucked. The arena was ready for a blowout. But I was over it pretty quickly.

*I used to travel about 50% of my time and have one of TravelPro's higher end bags. I rarely checked it but I'm probably rougher on it than any airline worker. It's held up really well. I want a new bag because well, I want a cuter color.

The real reason for my post:
*I need a new mattress and of course, hate mattress shopping so am looking at the online options. I'm leaning toward a Leesa over Casper/Tuft and Needle, and I know at least a couple of you have bought those. Do you still like them after time has passed? How firm are they? I like a big squishy soft bed but more aches as I get older means I probably need something far more firm.

Ulis/Lyles would be dope, but guess Trey didn't really play for UK.

-Our Leesa is great.

If you want to leave Ulis off, that's fine, as long as you want 85% of your comment section being people bitching about leaving him off.

Despite the influx of straw men arguments from the usual suspects, no one has managed to refute my original premises at all. It is a zero sum proposition. He has taken two players from each team. A big and a guard. You can have either Devin Booker or Tyler Ulis. You can have either Jamal Murray or Tyler Ulis. He chose Booker and Murray. Please make the case for why Tyler Ulis, NBA rotation player, would be the superior choice to Devin Booker, future NBA All-Star, in a game called NBA Jam.

Furthermore, if you polled 50 scouts, about 40 of them would describe Ulis as a floor general before they mentioned any other aspect of his game. In fact, there's probably posts here from the same people mocking the floor general comment describing Ulis as a floor general during his time at Kentucky.

Also, if they actually did an NBA Jam game, Towns, Davis, Wall, Cousins, and Booker would be the only guys on that list to actually be included in the game.

* UCLA game not lingering with me in to the week like losses usually do. I did have trouble sleeping Saturday night, though.

* It is hard to complain about the offense when you score 92, but the wrong peeps were taking jumpers too often and good shooters with open looks weren't aggressive enough.

* Defense was a shitshow. How many times did Briscoe, Monk and Fox sag off of their man in the corner for no reason only to lunge at them too late as they buried a 3 in their eye?

* Not sure what we can do about the 4 on defense. Gabriel looks like he should be good at D.

* Thrilled with the GatorBowl. But not going.

* Smoked a meatloaf yesterday. Excellent.

* Almost done hanging up Christmas lights! [banana]

* Have yourself a week, gyeroites!

Keep reading "Offense is fine we scored 92 points". Not quite.

First, a game like that is points for everyone, unless you lose by 30.

We missed 14-16 shots during UCLA's big run, and had no semblance of a game plan when we needed buckets...until Monk started bombing 3s.

How was everybody's Friday?

* First cavity in 25 years. Got that filled. Those things suck. If you count from left to right on your top teeth my cavity was between #'s 2 & 3.

* Getting my oil changed to prepare for a long drive to Florida next week, roll up the window, *crack* and it starts rolling down. Won't roll back up. Turns out the power window cable system snapped and I have to get a new one put on tomorrow. $475. Car folks: Am I getting fleeced here? Seems high for a cable but I know nothing about cars.

* My favorite thing about this tweet has been the lack of legitimately concerned reactions. The folks who helped me onto the floor and back into the chair posted the pic on Snapchat and it was chock full of such reactions.
I'm normal.

* Team's fine. If they do it again against Valpo, consider me concerned.

* NBA Jam (UK Edition) Flow Chart:

DID YOU ENJOY PLAYING AS THE UTAH JAZZ ON NBA JAM?

YES --> Tyler Ulis should be on your NBA Jam (UK Edition) team.
NO --> Tyler Ulis should not be on your NBA Jam (UK Edition) team.

Elementary AAU/elementary school basketball parent might be the worst of the sports parents. Baseball parent might get more attention b/c there are more stops and gaps in play, a slower pace of game, etc....but basketball parent is non-stop.

Most basketball parents don't understand this...but unless your kid is 6'3"+ or lightning quick/turbo dribbler/distributor (Ulis, Ford, etc.), your kid isn't going to play basketball in high school or beyond. Not a chance. Same could be said for baseball, etc., but size seems to make the most difference in basketball and football.

UCLA is nice and I'd vote them number 1 in today's polls but you have to wonder if they are playing too well too soon. They have to make shots because they sure as hell ain't stopping anyone from doing it. Anyways even with that run they made if UK doesn't go into full on ***** mode and plays hard and tough the entire game UK wins. Whatever extent illness played into that is not an excuse. They got punched in the face and took it like that kangaroo. Hopefully they learn.

And chad don't worry, it will not get better. I've been married for 10 years and she knows how I am with UK games but Saturday's game still caused our first big fight in months. You love UK more than me!!

I don't know if UCLA is #1 but that was about as impressive of effort by an opponent at Rupp that I've seen in awhile. Shades of Arkansas in '92.

Bottomline- when a team is nailing every J they put up, it's going to F up any defense, let alone one with four frosh. All of the sudden, you're desperately chasing shooters, popping on shotfakes, opening up everything else.

Yeah, our offense had some big flaws exposed but I expected that. We're so young that you had to know halfcourt offense was going to struggle a bit in a close game. Some of that may be alleviated IF:

a) our senior sharpshooter actually shot open 3s

b) our sophomore leader didn't get layups swatted all day AND step on the damn baseline 3x

c) Our dominant freshman big finished better (last thing I'm worried about- he'll get better and better and overall was terrific)

UPSIDE but yeah, we have some work to do.

Watched the replay. Yes, I'm a loser but I'm not watching THE NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE until the Playoffs and had about 90 minutes of peace and quiet ystdy afternoon after getting our tree up and decorated.

Still feel like the game had a weird flow. Something seemed off. The game was decided in the last 3:00 of the first half and the first 7:00 of the second half. They worked us when they had the ball and made us guard in the half court. Cuts, passsing, give/go, forcing help and making us leave open shooters. Boom.

Then because we weren't getting our way we became frustrated. HATED the body language shown by Briscoe, Fox and Monk. Bam even got in on the pouting wagon late with a no call.

Needed to be humbled but losing at home is always a red flag to me.

Stil redassed over no Mulder. Fng ridiculous that he didn't even get a chance. He's a better overall basketball player than Hawkins and I love Hawkins for all that he does. Cal needs to get over his stubbornness but I doubt he will.

Really need another low post scorer when we enter the conference grind and teams slow it down & muck it up with junk zones.

Never looked comfortable on offense in the 2nd half. Didn't get into any flow until Monk's 3's.

We **** our pants trying to run deliberate half-court sets against a team with like talent. I mean, it makes sense. We haven't been forced into doing something all year, so I can sympathize with the offense stalling to an extent. We've just bulldozed everyone else thus far and at some point teams are going to make you run some stuff and we weren't prepared for that. The more stuff they run the better they'll get it, re: spacing, timing, etc... Bam will become the biggest beneficiary of this and I think you'll see him really settle in. The battle for the 4 between Gabriel/Willis is a huge mystery so whoTF knows when the dust will settle there.

- I know Cal gets mad at Briscoe for NOT taking the jumper but I wish coach would STFU. Let him balk, and continue his effective little dribble probe action. If the drive isn't there ----> fine. Kick it back out and swing it around. I dunno but I think it's pretty established at this point that Briscoe simply isn't a good shooter and I'm not so sure screaming at him to shoot is the answer to his (or the team's) problems, JMO. I can handle the **** % from deep if he takes fewer perimeter shots, does old man YMCA thing probing the paint, and can at least hit a decent clip from the line.

Anyways even with that run they made if UK doesn't go into full on ***** mode and plays hard and tough the entire game UK wins.!

You can WHAT IF it all you want but the Cats got whipped.

He would have known better than to do that! He met us for dinner, not the theater, and I told him not to worry about changing just for dinner because he was running late because of traffic.

Germantown Craft House is legit. Love that place and love that its patio will be walking distance on nice evenings.

Willis opens up the floor for everyone else on Offense. I know Gabriel is more talented and has a bigger upside, but if Willis gets in the 8-10 ppg range...shewww. Just 2 Open 3s a game would make us almost unguardable.
