- They're definitely a better pair defensively. Wall and Bledsoe should've been better on that end at UK. Both gambled too much and could be had off the bounce. Fox is the closest thing I've seen to Rondo off the ball and is Paytonesque on the ball. Obvious hyperbole but you get what I'm saying.

- Briscoe is being slept upon. Dude is just AT YA all the game attacking the paint. It's punishing especially when you have to worry about Ahmad and the gang.

- Sportswriter [eyeroll] of the Day:

Bruce Feldman (who I love) and Stew Mandel (who I like) talking down to those ripping LSU's Orgeron hire citing his Ole Miss disaster as proof, calling such talk "lazy because Orgeron isn't close to the same coach he was back then."

WTF are we supposed to use as a reference to Orgeron as a head coach? It's the same **** we heard when Tubby went to Minnesota from the sportswriter diety because they like the dude personally.

F off, Bruce and Stew.

- Big 10 poached our the SEC's 2nd best coach and best upandcoming coach as well as the the Pac 10's best coach from that title run. Pretty easy to see why they're back.

- Lass wants to have 5 maids-of-honor so as not to hurt any feelings. Dead serious. This ought to be fun.

- I love Virginia in that Richmond, Williamsburg, etc area.

- Future FIL picked up the exact same UK crew I have from Homage when he was in town. We watched the Cats at some bar in Richmond like twins- a 6'4" whitehaired bloke and sawed-off me. Watched UK beat Louisville in basketball last year at a bar with him.

- Enjoying the new gig. Miss downtown and GYERO, though.

I wanted five groomsmen, but settled for four because she only had four bridesmaids. She said I could have five, but I didn't want to have an unbalanced line. Too OCD for that. Just relegated one guy to usherdom along with her brother. Also got another buddy in as the officiant.

One of the Barstool guys re-aired his blog from 7 years ago during that "bubble boy" incident where the world thought that kid floated off in a hot air balloon and every station was airing what was essentially going to be his death. But then they found him hiding in his attic.

I had completely forgot about that- but man i was into that when it was breaking. Would love to go back and read GYERO from that day.

I had also forgotten that the weirdo's name was "Falcon" and he barfed on the Today Show.

It was all over the media that day. TV's were glued to a hot air balloon and basically being told, "If you watch this a small child is going to die y'all! Get the popcorn and gather the kids, you won't want to miss this!". Then we found out he pulled a Clark Griswold and got stuck in the attic. The media hadn't been more let down since:

A tad surprised UL only fell to 13 in the playoff rankings. Dropped 6 after getting waxed by a fairly good Houston team, then lost at home to 6-5 UK. Expected a 5 spot drop at least.

Not moving anywhere.

Ate at the Tobacco Company in Richmond. Decent food- really cool atmosphere.

Also hit up Caryville (?) which reminded me a lot of Bardstown Road.

Nice, figured you would like Shockhoe bottom area. Very hipster.

Richmond is a pretty cool town. Kind of wish I had more than just a year there.

Have never heard of bubble boy or the story.
Oh ok let me give you the deets. The world watched a hot air balloon for a few hours after his parents reported him to have sailed off in it.

Turns out the kid never left the house, barfed on the Today show and let it slip on live TV that his parents told him to "do it for the TV show" because they wanted to be reality TV stars.

Then the parents actually served time in jail and had to pay restitution for the hoax. Now the parents are trying to make their kids into a hair metal band.

Well they are finding lots of incriminating "radical" connections for Captain Stabbin. He basically performed their mission. You don't have to have a certified ISIS in training badge.

Ah, yes. The typical overwhelming evidence that he's indeed an ISIS soldier.

brown skin
muslim name
facebook rants

The connections are, as always, overwhelming.

Bama in a romp. Really not much difference from 2-25 actually. I mean a 4 loss auburn is going to the Sugar Bowl.

I did not realize that If Navy wins the AAC then they won't fill the Group of 5 bid until after they play Army a week later.

So you're in ISIS if you're a psycho loner loser who sympathizes with them on social media and then performs an attack? I figured you would at least need to have at least one discussion/email/cybersession with another ISIS representative before you were in their club.

ISIS could take credit for John Travolta's mid 90s resurgence, but it doesn't mean it's true.

Bonus points if any media outlet can report an unsubstantiated account of the killer yelling "Allah Akbar!!"

That basically seals the deal. ISIS foot soldier.
