Mulder comes off those screens firing like Ray Allen or Reggie Miller...that's a REALLY difficult shot to go straight up with that type of speed (going away from the rim), takes a special shooter to make it look that fluid.

Bobby Hurley quit coaching about an hour and a half ago.
I think the qualifier is that assists really only became an "official" stat in the 80s (I believe).
I am in favorable view of my group of athletes.

I love it when you can't keep up with the highlights, tweets, gyero etc. on game night. Back and forth, back and forth, head spinning because you cannot get enough info of the win. Amazing.

I mean, teams will scout us and force us into more uncomfortable situations. But I feel like we have a counter for everything. And this team seems to have that need to embarrass people. That doesn't come along too often. Once every 20 years or so, I reckon.

Also loved that Briscoe didn't miss a beat. He could take off 30 years and roll into a competitive summer pickup game of former ballers and do his same ole thang -- god I love that kid.

I mean the somewhat obvious answer is a zone, but hell we *finally* have multiple guys (Fox, Briscoe, Gabriel, even Wills or Hawk) to throw in the middle of it to disrupt it all to hell.

Real talk: What is the makeup of a team that will give us fits? Our team is wired in such a way that I just can't picture us letting another team dictate the pace, which frustrated me to no end about '15 and even '12 was guilty of it to an extent. So what's it going to take? What's the chink in the armor and who's the team capable of exploiting it? My thing so far has bee three-point defense, although I suspect it will get better. Creighton is an exceptional shooting team from deep.

Anyway, it’s hard to take all that much out of this performance – it wasn’t a fair fight, more on that in a second – but there were a couple of promising signs. For starters, the Wildcats hit 11 threes as a team on a night where Malik Monk was just 3-for-10 from beyond the arc. Isaiah Briscoe hit both the threes he attempted. De’Aaron Fox hit the only three he attempted. That duo was a combined 2-for-21 from beyond the arc on the season heading into Monday night. - Rob Dauster
