Sick. Been sick since Thursday night. I slept through half the game. Did manage to wake up and watch the last 9 minutes of the 4th. In my case, the whole thing really was like a dream. In and out of it throughout. A healthy MacGinnis is such an underrated luxury. There's 200 schools who probably don't have a guy that can consistently hit from 50 yards out.

As a rule of thumb, Kentucky football sucks until proven otherwise. I think they've proven otherwise at this point. The weird thing is this was supposed to have been Barker's year and things didn't turn around until he was out of the picture. I don't know if we have this season if he's available. This forced the staff into a more ground oriented game that ate more clock.

It's nice that Louisville has to play a real schedule now. The ACC wore them down just as much as the SEC wore us down. That makes a difference at Thanksgiving. They were always able to coast through 8-9 games in those ****** leagues they played in before. Plus our own scheduling worked out to our advantage with Austin Peay the week before.

I have to deal with people today. I'm not exactly a people person on a regular day. Feeling like complete **** and having to deal with people is my own personal hell. Little Karmic payback for being so down on the team all season.

Radio seemed to think Memphis was the most likely destination for a bowl with Charlotte being option B.

I couldn't wait to watch the field goal - so was constantly refreshing twitter so I would know before he even kicked it

Told my wife all week that if we won, we were going out that night to celebrate. After driving 11 hours earlier that day and getting home for the 4th quarter, was the best sports high I have had since 2012 without a doubt.

Still can't stop smiling :smiley:

That poor UL homer guy that asked that question is probably done for his career.


I tried to listen to Deener this morning and god what an awful show. Maybin just won't STFU.

The Johnny Versache guy that calls into KSR asked him point blank if they are allowed to criticize Petrino and Petino and of course that little shrimp Deener weaseled his way out of it.

Louisville has been in the ACC every year since the game was moved to November and was in a ****** conference prior. Agree with your point but I still think they played an awful schedule.

Our O Line dominated that game.

It's amazing how awful UL looked on both lines these last couple of games.

Not sure how to tie that into their coach being a POS but I'll figure something out by lunch...

the ACC besides FSU and Clemson is pretty much the old Big East when they played in it during 2006. Wake, Syracuse, BC, NC State, Duke and Virgina are pretty much Missouri or worse. One thing noted this morning on Deener was that Petrino had game planned for FSU for 8 months prior to that game. That is what he used to do for the game against us when it was first. He can't do that when we are the last game.

Maybin seems like a great dude, appreciate his attitude given his situation and was a helluva player -- but man, he's [sick]

-Curious to hear UKO's thoughts on us beating the team he said was "Clearly" top 2-3 all year long, and finishing 7-5. This staff did a great job this season, especially with the start.

Oh, and the only team from Power 5 w/ 2 1000 yard rushers, the main thing he always bitched about. [laughing] Terrible weekend for that guy.

I had talked myself into "keep it close and maybe something crazy happens at the end" but I never really thought we could actually win that game, especially on the road. Then when they absolutely marched on the first possession, I was full on in the dumps. But, alas....

I did not see the Lamar fumble. I had walked outside and was looking for an old can of dip from my golf bag. Wife had to call me back in when they turned it over.

You know what I did like to hear, even though the commentators were garbage, was "Heisman voters will look for a reason to vote for someone else because most dont like Bobby Petrino" I mean i doubt anyone else can win that award this year but I love the narrative that Petrino is so hated that people may take it out on his players.

This years UL team, in reality was probably more the team that played Wake Forest, than the team that beat FSU. They were still pretty flawed throughout the season.

Glad we didnt can Stoops right after the Florida game and leave his *** in Gainesvile. Guess Anth's tweet from 7 minutes into the season about the "Bandwagon being full" finally makes sense.

I'm not sure how much this played into it, but Louisville was never the same after those first playoff rankings came out. They were sluggish as all get out against Wake Forest, but they won in a week when teams ahead of them lost, still they couldn't get into the top 4, and they did not react to that next ranking with the necessary level of maturity a top tier team has to have. They were completely mentally checked out at Houston, and I'm pretty sure they took our guys for granted, at least on the offensive side.

Man, those 2 losses really sting right now. Beat UGA and USM and we're talking big stuff. Oh well. We're booked in Charlotte, Nashville and Memphis. Email sloot for specifics.

UL has struggled in several games all year. It just caught up with them and we've been getting better year. They were damn good up until Clemson.

This. Especially after the Wake Forest game. Instead of taking their number five ranking and making it bulletin board material, they whined and pitied themselves all week and it was like they forgot how to football against Houston.

However, Saturday was a case of both a team playing out of their ***, and a Heisman hopeful trying to be Big Damn Hero. UK played up to the challenge. If you had Johnson carving them for 300 yards, 3 TD passes, and a better passing stat line than L8M8R, you're a liar. The offensive line, which has been the biggest surprise all season manhandled UL to open the run game and Benny, Boom, and Kemp took advantage. Add that with 8's turnovers, and that's the ballgame.

He started the morning out OK, but he is getting crazier as the day goes on.

He still thinks both OSU and Michigan will make it, and that you could flip a coin between Bama and Michigan to see who the real #1 is.

He did thank UK for helping Peppers win the Heisman by beating UL. Apparently that is a lock now.

I'm just glad he finally stopped talking about Verlander not winning the Cy Young.

I think the call on that Michigan/OSU game was pretty damn close, really didn't look like the ball crossed the plane to me.

Peppers popped some OSU fan after the game.

Stoops has taken a lot of grief from fans/media for his "gotta put our heads down and get back to work, get tougher, etc." coach speak the last 4 years, but it's refreshing to see a team that has truly adopted that mindset. They have completely taken on the personality of Stoops, mostly for the better. There are several examples from this year, most recently Snell's fumble late in the game against Louisville, where past teams would have folded up and lost another close one. But this team grew to the point where they could put a play like that behind them and still find a way to get the win.

NEVER FLINCH, FINISH, ALL IN, atkot.

The yellow line isn't the mark...it's the white line. Why they even have the yellow line up is ridiculous, as the ball starts on the 25 yard line. 15 yard line is the initial first down line in OT. Barrett ran into his own player and the Michigan player pushed him back.

Think the officials were like...if we overturn this, we won't leave the stadium alive...so they let the call stand.

Even at that, from the angle of the gif, it looks like he made it. He had a bit of a second effort before being pushed backwards, and over half of his non ball-carrying arm clearly crosses the 15, and his other arm looks to be right on the 15. If I am spotting that ball from that gif, it's on the 15 and is a 1st down, and as I said before I hate Ohio State.

MacGinnis = LEGEND. 2 game-winning field goals from distance that turned us from 5-7 to 7-5. That guy has been so good for us for 3 years. He's what Lones Sieber never was.

Active shooter on OSU's campus. Damn.

The tip of the ball just has to touch the edge of the 15. And it did. Watch the video.

I do think if they had called it the other way on the field, it would've stood. It was that close.
