Zipp with an epic meltdown rant on Cards Sports:

Quite simply, LPT is the other spouse in a dying relationship: we don’t need you anymore. It’s not hate or even strong dislike. It’s more apathy and indifference. For a growing part of our fanbase, you don’t stir our emotions any longer. And you don’t hold up your end of the relationship. You’re a basketball school which doesn’t understand what that means to your other sports programs. You use superficial metrics like “how much we’ve invested” to justify your football commitment, while your own football players acknowledge they’ll always be a red-headed stepchild. You have ten to fifteen thousand fans in your stadium on senior day. With all due respect, that’s a sorry excuse for a “football rival”.

And for a lotta U of L fans, it’s also a matter of kinship (or lack thereof). Many I know have a hard time relating to slapd!cks and your mentality. You’re the family relation we have to muster our willingness to visit. If we don’t know you, we mutter “uggh” when you pull up next to us in the parking lot. We really don’t want you in our parking lot, our basketball arena or football stadium. Many of us think it looks worse with you there and would prefer not to go inside yours. We don’t care to see or hear you, and if we’re too close, to smell you. We don’t hate you, we just don’t enjoy being around you.

Their misery is delightfully gratifying. I'll sleep better tonight knowing that all their hopes and dreams came crashing down at the Pizza Box they call "home." What makes it sweeter is the fact that their savior, Heisman hopeful LAMAR, managed 3 crippling turnovers that effectively handed UK the game.

Eat all the dicks, Louisville. You deserve them. [banana]

Just phenomenal self-awareness from a supporter of a basketball program that crows about being "the most profitable" especially so few years after their "all-time leading dunker" played there.

I'd say Louisville is the nation's leader in "superficial metrics," but then they'd probably go ahead and add that to their media guides too.

May break down and get the kids a dog for Xmas. They've worn me down.

I have no idea as to how I should go about finding a puppy. Would love to get an English Bulldog, but I'm not looking to shell out over 2K.

Any reliable websites or recommendations?

They're fully melted down. Other than the lose itself, there is a strong possibility their season is summed up as that guy that did the Heisman pose then lost the game.

Still think Lamar gets it but if not, God help Louisville fan because you won't ever live that down.

And the one trick pony UL wanted Bama in the CFP.

Drove down to NYC to visit a buddy on a whim just to catch up and watch the Cats...what a damn day.

Think I drank a thousand beers.

Oh, and it certainly helped that we CRUSHED the gambol yesterday. Paid for the days food and drink many times over. Congrats to the syndicate.

Whatever breed of dog you are looking for, there is a rescue org that has that breed available for adoption, either puppies or adult dogs, purebreds or mixed (which can even be better, example my dog is 50/50 Rottie/Akita & has best traits of both and so far, no breed related heath problems.)
Just google the breed name, plus rescue or adoption. Even if the rescue is far away they will arrange to have the dog transported to you.
All you have to pay will be an adoption fee which will include spay or neutering and first shots. The dog will come with a health certificate and probably a microchip. Fees usually run $100-$200. Much cheaper than paying a breeder $1000s.
Adopt don't shop.

Hey - what about Ryan Timmons? Finally getting going in the passing game and he's been quietly a very good blocker at WR this year. Happy for him and this senior class. Glad he was a factor yesterday.

- My boy Dorian Baker came through so get off him lol

- Card Chronicle/UL Sheriff/Ennis etc [laughing] - I didn't see any Coomes tho.

- I don't want to beat a dead horse but I was ready to explode again at Courtney Love for whiffing at that dbag chalk TE on that 3rd and long late. Fortunately Lamar fumbled (the next play?) and the rest is history. But that was an absolutely backbreaking miss that would have got the D off the field and held UL to a FG, with plenty of time to mount a drive. Dude has been in position to make plays all year and has simply failed to deliver. Got to improve that position next year.

- Mike Edwards and Darius West (hopefully) will be some badasses back there. Excited about that tandem.

- So glad Stoops turned it around for this program and fans. HUGE. I mentally checked out after the Florida game so I am ecstatic he proved me wrong. With all the pups on this team the extra practices are crucial for future development. Gotta keep Gran tho.

Xmas **** goes up today. Ugh.

There's nothing more delusional than Zipp advocating for UL to drop us in every sport because they have "more to lose than win."

It's exactly that, delusional. That's how he rationalizes it in his mind when really it's that he can't stomach us beating them and would rather just not risk it.

Go ahead UL, drop us while we're leading both sports. :sunglasses:

WATCH: When you're re-watching the game, watch Stephen Johnson carefully right before the first play from scrimmage.

Cool as a cucumber, counts his men, sizes up the D, cracks a little smile as if thinking "I know what's about to happen".

Right when he bends over for the snap count, you can see him say "I love this ****".

Then 5 seconds later delivers a 75 yard TD strike.

I kind of noticed it yesterday but now I've rewatched it like 10 times.

Chills. :boxing:[banana]

I figured someone had seen it and was competent enough to capture and post it (since I'm not).

Thank you, I freaking love it.

That set the tone for the game, watching the confidence from Johnson and Stoops, as if "yeah, we have a game plan, and we know exactly how to beat these chumps. This is just the beginning"
