Gabriel is going to be the guy Cal subs in this year when he's so pissed about bad D, lack of hustle, etc that he's getting ready to have a coronary.
Davis=Henson, KAT, even Cousins took a while to round into form. Not worried about Bam at all, he'll be fine.

Pretty decent team. Kenpom had them as the worst we've played so far, but I don't see how. They beat every other team in this little fake, made up tournament. Lost to Ole Miss by 3.
I'd say the maturity of Fox & Monk has been the most surprising aspect of this season, if it weren't for the fact that our Free Throw shooting appears to be the best it's been since Cal has been here. Mercy, we're lighting the stripe up.
Bam definitely sweats a lot. Probably because he's so fat. Only fat people sweat.

This is the most homer broadcast in the country. As it should be. Kentucky is SEC basketball. We've earned it. It's not like the other 13 teams in the conference are actually going to watch basketball on the SEC Network.
This team handles business, they have no interest in letting lesser teams hang around.
Also... Wenyen is my favorite cat these days. I f*cking love that guy. Can't help but pulls for him.

Fox may not have John Wall talent, but this team doesn't stand around waiting for Fox to make plays the way Cals first team often did with Wall.

I'm trying really hard not to say something outrageous about this team.

I think a lot of top 5 teams this year let a team like UT-Martin stick around a lot longer than we did with the way they came out. Cal is coaching a lot less, the players are having a ton of fun and I don't see a team on the NCAAM landscape that matches up with us (right now) 1-9. UNC has looked good but their coach is a caricature of an actual coach.
It would greatly benefit one of these opponents to make haste in scoring more points than Kentucky in a ballgame.
