Man this is a like-able team. Like even if I wasn't a Kentucky fan I would enjoy watching this team. Just badass guards flying around all over the place.

Izak will be fine, just not falling/working out for him -- and limited attempts and hard to get in rhythm w/ this guard dominated team. You can see it with Bam as well, although he seems to be coming along.

Izak needs to quit being a sissy and get in the weight room. He's a long way from being a Jorts. Expected more from an Aussie, tbh. Go play the piano, c-sucker. He's too big to play so small, and he's too nice. Get big, get mean, or get pumped.

Coach Mathew has his girls ranked 20. That's why he makes the big bucks.

According to the heel scout board the only way UK beats them is if they let UK get out in transition. Pump the breaks.

I will say Monk needs to tighten his handle if he has any visions of running point in the NBA. That's his only real offensive weakness I can see. (maybe putting a little more zip on his passes?)

Bam looking for K Love comparisons on these outlets? Underrated part of his game...as is passing in general.

Love a big who *gets* the high/low game. Dude is really going to come on in Jan when league play kicks in. Pace will slow down somewhat and we'll be more deliberate in feeding the post.

- What an enjoyable team to watch. Man.

Don't give up on Izak, we're going to need him...Bam is going to be riding pine w/ fouls a LOT, imo.

I get the Westbrook comps from an athlete/explosive angle, but Monk is never running point. He's a good and willing passer, but he's still not a (primary) PG. His athleticism more than makes up for his height -- think Brad Beal but more dynamic, imo. Potentially, obviously.

6'3-6'4 isn't what the NBA looks for on paper for a 2G these days, but there are successful exceptions all over, none (or few) of which have the physical ability that Monk has.

D Wade, one of the best to ever do it, is similar size, for example...and doesn't have near the stroke, even now, that Monk has at 18 years old.

10 minutes left in the game and we had 81 points. I wish the 15 team had played at this pace.

Dude, Mulder can STROKE it. Not even his best game, but every shot looks good..and it's lightning quick. Just looks like that situational sniper-type bench dude that we never seem to have, but everyone else does.

If Cal doesn't use him "for real" this year, or at least give him the chance when needed, I'm gonna be

-Beal wasn't a real comp, just a smaller dude who popped into my head off top. Monta & Gordon are both good comps for "undersized" scorers I guess...

My main point was just saying he won't be a primary PG. And he won't have to be to be a dynamic NBA player. He has rare traits, how tall the top of your head is, is EXTREMELY overrated when you possess the 'stuff' he has. Same goes for any position, imo.

Cal trying so hard to bring Bam along more quickly. Totally dominant force inside that we don't have yet, but will soon enough. Need him ready for UNC, which could be #1 vs #2.

Mulder gets so much elevation on his shot, and it's off so quickly. Hits the boards too. Plenty to outweigh some defensive lapses.

Monk looks and plays much taller than an Ellis, Gordon, Crawford, etc -- which is what I'm saying. If you count his afro, he a prototype NBA 2guard height wise. Never understood why that mattered so much, unless you are great at blocking shots with your head.

A guy like him can compete & excel in the NBA at the 2G without issue, so long as he can shoot, which apparently he can. Maybe Dwade was the best comp in terms of not needing to be 6'7 to dominate the 2 position -- he's one of the best 2G to ever play the damn game, and he couldn't even really shoot.

Then again, I never had confidence Bledsoe could lead a team at PG, so I guess we'll see. He's an NBA player no matter position, pretty sure we can all agree on that.

-Almost forgot about our top scorer and sophomore leader not suiting up. Nice team performance.

<---Way out in front on Mulder. [smoke]

-Happy Thanksgiving, GYERO.

I never said primary PG, FWIW. I agree he's best off the ball 'SCORING THE BASKETBALL'.

But if NBA coaches want to experiment with him running the point in certain spots (like they did with Murray already in Denver lol) he's going to want to tighten up his handle in traffic. That was my main thing.

South Carolina getting steamed (+3) at home vs. Michigan. That's the type of win the SEC needs and never gets -- not a marquee in, but a very good one, and at home.

Were SEYMORE and LEXI the only two suggestions?

I know we all have our fun with the BRax, "the human Blue Hawk," but I bet ol' boy never has to overcome syncing issues with "the cloud" in his day-to-day.

Well then I'm rooting for SEYMORE, only because I assume Milqetoast missed the obvious SEYMORE BUTTS joke while he was burning the midnight oil and patiently reading through all of the letters he received.
