Did being a floppy ***** finally get Grayson Allen injured? Seems ironic, but what the f*ck do I know?

Normally I like Bilas but he is blatantly on Duke's side tonight. That 5th foul on Jackson was ridiculous and really robs us seeing a great player down the stretch

I did my first ever color commentary gig for a basketball webcast.

^^ Everybody thinks they could do great commentary until the mic gets in front of em'. Sounds like you had a good debut. Keep after it for those of us stuck in dead-end corporate gigs-too ***** to branch away from the check. Get on TV so we can do the vicarious thing.

Monk is going to be streaky.

Fox is going to be fast, yet surprisingly under control.

Bam is going to get NCAA "you're too big" whistles. Hope he can average 27 minutes.

Briscoe gets buckets and has deceptively good handles. He'll average 10 points on lay-ups and that's absurd.

Nobody except Monk made a three. Is Willis a bench player? Does he shrink when he perceives he's relied upon? Don't want to be reactionary after two games...

Outside shooting and bad whistles in the front court are the causes for concern. November rankings are whack, but we're #1!! [cheers]

Anybody got any non-baked mac and cheese recipes for Thanksgiving? Baked mac is garbage btw. I'm gonna try this with a more traditional roux, while adding in Velveeta of course.

- I don’t believe in telling someone else they should retire (and really don’t like it when media does it to someone in the public eye) but I will say this… Dickie V is no longer good at his job. He can stay as long as he and ESPN agrees but he’s bad and kinda out of touch.

- That pace the first 5 minutes…

-There was an officiating video put out in the off-season regarding post players and how they wouldn’t be able to clear space with their arms/elbows this year. Bam is big enough to not have to do that but I’d imagine it’s a hard habit to break.

-The lettering on the blue unis might be worse than the checkerboard. Clunky.

-Not gonna read too much into it from just last night but the lack of post touches raised an eyebrow.

They started posting Humphries late. He nearly lost it once before hitting Fox on a cut and then he air balled a jump hook the next opportunity. It always takes us a while to get around to running offense through the post. Towns didn't even become the focal point until we were into SEC play.

I'm more surprised that Bam hasn't benefited from more lobs. Maybe it's because our guards are just too good at getting all the way to the rim. I think he caught one last night.

Once we get some offense in Willis and Bam will get more touches. But right now we have 3 guards with 32, 42 and 42 fga respectively. 4th most shots is Humphries with 15. Basically, nobody else is even shooting right now.

Good to see Monk hit the 3 last night. Obviously, he wont hit for that kind of % but at least he showed he's capable of knocking them down. Going to have to fall on his and Willis' shoulders as Fox (0-7) and Briscoe (1-6) are a combined 1-13 from 3.

How does the most iconic arena in the world, which just spent no telling how much in renovations and is constantly hosting events & tournaments, have coat closets for a 'locker room'?

We dismantle Michigan State and the storyline today is Duke is obviously the best team because they almost beat Kansas with three guys out

The thing with Duke is everyone is assuming those hurt freshman are just going to be plug and play make Duke great. It doesn't work that way. Depending on how long they are out it may take them some time to be a factor and some of them may not be a real factor at all this season no matter how talented they are simply because of time lost practicing and rotations with them out being solidified.

It's a big unknown how that plays out for them and I'd rather be in our position rather than theirs waiting on hurt freshmen.

Looks like smooth sailing at #1 for about 4 weeks (provided we beat UCLA at home) until we get UNC and UL in back-to-back games.

That would put us at 126 weeks at #1, trailing only UCLA (134) and Duke (129).

Assuming Duke and KU got the normal lockers.

Completely agree with the pieces fitting. Maybe as well as any team other than 12.

Love Duke in the overwhelming favorite role.

Lonnie Walker to Miami.

I know it's a relatively weak guard class, but I wish Cal had put at least a bit more emphasis on a few other 2G's, like Paul Scruggs and Brandon Randolph. Seems like he put 90 percent of his eggs in the John Petty basket. Oof.

Alexander helps, and he may jump in on the M.J. Walker kid, but I was really hoping he'd get a backcourt scoring replacement for Monk in this class, and so far.....no dice.

You have to wonder, at this point- with the #1 team in the country, is GYERO better *without* wcc. Certainly an argument there.

While he's force-feeding hypothetical lineup scenarios to everyone in like July while the rest of the group is filling it up with randoms? Maybe the writing was always on the wall. Not sure his puppies were ever set, to be honest.

Knicks Locker Room and Offices
Visiting NBA Team Locker Room
Rangers Locker Room and Offices
Visiting NHL Team Locker Room
Headliner Concert Locker Room
Etc.

Add 4 college basketball teams on a single night to that mix...not much left.

Pretty good writeup for you foodies on some spots in the Birmingham scene. Frank Stitt is the real deal, and there are some other really good spots in town- much more than I realized before moving here.

Briscoe has a little Mike Tyson in his voice...

Picked up this book yesterday. Written by a man who lost his wife in the Paris attacks a year ago, he tried to be intentional in not "returning feelings of hate" to the attackers- bc he knew that was their goal. Caught my attention- Am curious to get through and find if he was able to just write that down as his stance- or if he really felt that way. Can't imagine going through that- and certainly cant imagine not absolutely despising everyone involved if I were in his shoes.

Don't fret about the lack of post touches, y'all. It's mid-November and these high profile games tend to be frantic. Plus, I'm sure they aren't fully versed in half-court O yet.

So they tend to revert back to pretty much all they know ---> getting out and running.

- Was really impressed with Gabriel last night. Dude didn't seemed too bothered by the stage and just did his thing. His faceup game is better than I thought. He has a nice stroke.

- We may have a baby today, stay tuned. I'll have anth set his alarm clock for 10PM tonight and announce to GYERO either way just to let y'all know.

Shout out to BBdk he's basically nailed his takes on this team. Especially, Wenyen.

-How weird was it watching an Izzo team play and look like that? You could tell he was just like, "ah f*ck it." He hated every second of it.

-[jumpingsmile] , don't care. I'm a girl about that type of stuff. I don't try to hide it and will absolutely own it. Just like I'm super excited about the newest gosling. As many pics and snaps as possible please. TIA.

-Little man just jumped right up on the couch last night and scooted to the edge mimicking me watching the game. [banana] Proudest dad moment to date.
