I can't live anywhere cold. Figured that out long ago. Which is a shame, because Colorado is awesome. Especially in the summer.

Colorado (or at least Denver) in the winter isn't *that* cold.

The one thing I will say about Denver winters is they're surprisingly sunny and not grey and overcast all the time which actually helps quite a bit. But it's still cold as balls.

^ Lived there 3 years, and most days in the winter, you can get away with wearing a vest or light jacket. Altitude + no humidity + sun = pretty comfortable in the winter.

And from personal experience, the winters in Kentucky and Washington DC were far, far more brutal. Not even close, really.

Denver averages 56 inches of snowfall a year (compared to 13 for Louisville) but really it is typically sunny and winters arent that bad.
