Gran's overthinking this one. Beat the hell out of them up the middle and work the tight end on 2nd and medium instead of the obvious downs. It's driving me nuts.

What we should have been doing is running the football every damn play of the 2nd half.

Hell, the one time we threw it downfield, Johnson hits Badet and he ***** the bed. Not sure we shouldn't have been mixing it up more.

College football coaches are pussies. Stoops was playing with house money and didn't know what to do with it. WAy to conservative from an offensive stanpoint. It's whatever. But stoops got his 6 and it sad he didn't go for it tonight.

As I was saying....it's over.
Eat runny diarrhea ****, dude. This game could have easily been a blowout, but it stayed close and in UK's favor most of the game. This team is a far cry from the team that dropped two turds (that you can vigorously eat) against Southern Miss and Florida.

The one in the first quarter was serious. ^^^^That one, I was hoping what happened in the first quarter would happen again. And it did....kind of.

The worst part of this loss to me--I worry that our fan base will forget/discount everything the players and coaches accomplished this season because we couldn't take the next step. In the end, we'll be 6-6 and playing in the Advocare V100 Texas Bowl. That's not exactly first place in the SEC East with a shot at Atlanta.

It's still an amazing turnaround after the way this year started.

No way man, it's still Stoops' first bowl. I'm astonished and thrilled we are even making a bowl game and thankful for the extra practice this young group will get.

1st and goal, and a touchdown might seal the win....and the play-calling was questionable. Then Stoops jumps in and yells at Gran to throw the *%! ball, and they throw a fade route on 3rd down. The fade can work in the NFL, but not when you're UK with a backup QB throwing. So they get the field goal and leave enough time for Georgia to march downfield.

Should Stoops have intervened like that? Should Gran have told him to p!ss off? Or was Gran going to make that call anyway?

Missed opportunities in this game. Had it in their grasp (literally), and dropped it.

The SEC East is still not off the table though it's a long shot. Strap them up and get it done next week.

I understand that's the way you feel. I'm sure you're not alone, but I worry about the fanbase as a whole. At the end of the year, we'll have lost 3 of 4, with the only win against 0-9 Austin Peay. If we'd won tonight, the media attention and hype over the next week would've made the season special regardless of what happened at Tennessee and Louisville.

I'm just afraid this was all fools gold against the pile of rocks that is the SEC East and we're holing on to a turd.

That's exactly the mentality I'm talking about. Given the way things played out tonight, lots of people will feel this way. It's a shame.
