I once watched an interview with a Nazi in the 1990's and they asked him "What do you think people will most remember about Hitler?" and the guy said "That he ended unemployment." That is IU fan and the weird cult of sports media who push this narrative about "the right way" and that he graduated players. The man was/is a psychopath who abused not only players but staff and personnel that in any other profession would not only have you fired but behind bars.

Cleveland's downtown setup is dope, was a fan.

Several bar/restaurant strips, Pro Arenas, Scrippers, Casino, nice Hotels,...and a 24 hour Gyro place. That's pretty much all I need.

Tuesday Shorts:

- My only real problems with Cleveland are the Browns and the accents...but those are big problems.

- I am so back-and-forth on this World Series. One of my best friends since I was in 2nd grade is a diehard Cub fan from his father (a Chicago native), who passed away a couple years ago. I know this would mean a lot to him in more ways than one.

Plus, I always like to see @Geese Feeder happy.

- [laughing] 24 NBA players, and 10 of CBS's Top 100.

- Watched The 13th. It was really good. Empathy is a good thing that we sometimes forget.

- I know they haven't played anyone but Nebraska has to be feeling better about their Rich Brooksian hire of Mike Riley. Sometimes experienced and solid is a good call.

- And what about Holgorsen finally getting things done in Morgantown?

- Good to see Bonzo is still profiting.

Chicago's exotic dancing scene is truly terrible. That and gun laws and violence. Great steaks and pizza though...and Portillo's.

Thanks, Chad. My mom is pretty tickled about the whole thing. She called me after the Cubs clinched the other night crying and ****. Pretty special.

You know what also makes me happy? Opening night in the NBA. WOOT. Which means ---> Free NBA League Pass on DirecTV for this week. Hoping AD bounces back and stays healthy while DMC throws enough tantrums he gets thrown the eff out of Sac Town and put on a likable team/franchise.

Congrats again to @tfields01 - IIRC they played it up until the baby was born to find out if it was a boy/girl. Pretty brave. My wife is a planner so there was no wayyy in hell could we have done that. But girls are indeed the best, tho.

Stoops getting snippy about his time mgmt critics on his call-in show? Grief. That was handled just like most of his other late game situations -----> extremely poorly. Get a better handle on the late game scenarios and thank Johnson/Badet/Macginiss for saving your *** on that last drive.

Has Dorian Baker caught a pass yet this year?

Yep a decent arena, too. If it wasn't so damn cold that was a pretty good regional locale tbh.

Iphone 7 arrived in the mail last night, on my 2 year upgrade schedule -- mainly just looking forward to a battery that lasts > 3 hours, thing was toast.

Other than that, pretty much hate getting a new phone, at least during the adjustment period. Thing seems pretty slick, but doubt I'll get any more "use" out of it than any previous phone. Text, Email, Social Media, Catpaw, Camera -- that'll about do it.

Can't wait to buy all new headphones, aux cords, and whatever special **** I need now that it doesn't have a headphone jack. [eyeroll]

(just blocked Joey so I don't have to read his responses)

Clean it up for me a bit, Willy, and we may be on to something here.

Late, but went ahead and made a different one...

Already pretty much common knowledge that Chane and MEGA freely partook of the extry benefits, and both were key players on the title team. And there's at least some evidence against RUSS also. Retroactive ineligibility should result in the banner coming down, but we all know we're dealing with a corrupt governing body.

Regardless of your thoughts on the Cubs it's pretty cool that Schwarber made the 25 man roster and may DH in Cleveland.

Agree 100%, but the NCAA will do their damnedest to avoid that outcome.

How long has it been since he played and faced live pitching? Risky move, IMO.

Of course, I just guaranteed the fact that he will hit a walk off HR to win the series.

that Rowland article, where to start

If we beat a death's doorstep Missouri team at home this weekend well then MAYBE that article is warranted.

I don't really care who wins the World Series if the Reds aren't in the picture but it is fun giving "life long" Cubs fans ****. Plus over the past 25 years the Reds have brought more misery than happiness to me and I want that same feeling to continue with Cubs fans.

Plus

OVER

And I'd rather the Cubs win the next 15 straight World Series than UofL win one National Championship. That's just dumb.

You mean if you dont count two days ago?

I don't need smart *** answers from the likes of you. I understand your anger, but its not my fault that your wife and her family, Chief and BRax hate you.

All I wanted to know was if Cubs fans feel comfy with an 0-3 appearance in the Arizona Fall League after not playing or facing live MLB pitching since April 3rd.

He did hit the ball out of the infield once, so maybe that's all you needed to see. I mean, it's just the World Series.

My bad Willy I though you asked how long it had been since he faced live pitching. I guess I misread your initial post, My bad, dude!!!

I don't hate Clark, he hates me because I posted a poorly photoshopped picture of him with Lorde on this board and he lost his damn ****. I think he's a nice guy who's just super stressed all the time.

Like I've said before, my dad was a native Chicagoan and cubs fan so I'm pulling for them despite the fact that I don't consider myself "a cubs fan". But I think the biggest reason I'm pulling for them is because it'd be INTERESTING if they won. More storyline and history if I get to witness this. Pretty much how I root for all sporting events that don't involve UK and to a lesser extent the Reds.
