I'm just really enjoying, as I have been for the last year, making snarky condescending remarks about whores in the dorms. That has at least 30-40 years worth of play, like "$1000 envelope." Really all I can ask for. Pitino staying there just magnifies it all.

I mean look at it this way- when the unpainted juggalos that are the UL fan base saunter into the YUM! Center they'll see the 2012 and 2013 banners and know that one represents a FF loss to UK and the other has whorestain on it.

The rest is whoregravy.

Those comments to the C-J really shine a light on the cult like atmosphere on Floyd Street. Or maybe its us. But I'm leaning on UL being a cult.

-Word.

-Decided to not even attempt to make the game. We should be sliding in right as it's ending and hopefully beating traffic to the Post Game Celebrash Bop Gun Dance-off.

-Scotch stock is low, time to re-up. [insert diabolical emoji]

-Obamacare can get pumped. By prison aids dick.

-Blue/White [cheers]:basketball:[jumpingsmile]

-Come on, PJ. Just commit. Down to UK, UNLV and [laughing]UNC. Everyone knows you're not going UNC or UNLV. Need to get Richards, Washington and Young in the fold asap.

-My guess is Pitino is at UL >5 more years. My hope is he outstays his welcome and the decline is in the same trajectory as Denny so they have to hypocritically push him out for losing after taking all his **** for 25 years.

-Again, don't mix coffee and zyrtec-d. Never done meth but I can only imagine that's what it's like.

-Hey Kentucky is actually pretty good. Hopefully he can keep it creative. The Trump kid was great.

* Cubs are absolutely steamrolling right now. As much as I clown on their idiotic fans (nationwide, not actual Chicagoans), I would love to see them win the World Series. Maddon and Epstein are fantastic. Their team is loaded with awesome, young talent. Aroldis Chapman. And, most importantly, watching a World Series take place in one of the most venerable stadiums in the country = :baseball:. We all win, imo.

* Watched The 13th. It's basically the movie version of this book....

The book and documentary clearly have an agenda, but it's hard to disagree with the thesis. Of course, you'll always have your drxman types who just insist.....just do what the police say and dont ask questions end of story its really not that hard. [pfftt]

* Absolutely CRUSHED our boy Bret Bearup yesterday on thefacebook machine. Turns out he's nothing more than a devout plagiarist. Noticed it yesterday when his Axe body spray/Cross Fit joke popped up on my feed from 2 other people, verbatim. Out of curiosity, I cut and past every single one-liner/wisecrack status update of his into Google, and found it posted on other people's Twitter feeds each time.

He's now de-friended me, and set his security functions to where I can't read any of his posts. [laughing]

What a *****. If you're going to steal people's work, at least have the decency to cite your source.

* My buddy Josh is trying to win a contest to make the cover of Runners World magazine. Here's his video...

http://www.runnersworld.com/runners...ers-world-cover-search-finalist-josh-lajaunie

4 years ago, he weighed over 400 pounds. He turned raw vegan, started running (highly competitively, up to 100 mile races), quit drinking, and is down to a lean 170ish. Pretty amazing transformation.

* Weekend plans....

Friday = little date night with the Monkey Doc. take the dogs to a concert in Audubon Park. Ethiopian place for dinner. Catch up on WestWorld. Crush.

Saturday = Nola Brew Bus tour. https://nolabrewbus.com/ Game watch with some UK fan buds.

Sunday = Jason Isbell/John Moreland concert at the Joy Theater.

* Fantastic book...

His school (St Benedicts/Father Edwin Leahy) were also profiled on 60 Minutes earlier this year.

There is no reason whatsoever for Pitino to keep coaching at Louisville. He's hung a banner there, he's won it at 2 different schools, he's in the HoF, and he's had to weather two sex scandals that were either caused by him or indirectly allowed by him looking the other way.

But then there's that guy 70 miles east who's pretty much told everybody he'll retire here. And that is the only reason Pitino will stay. He loves to talk privately about Cal's ego, but his own ego is the biggest in the state. As long as Cal is a threat at a 2nd title here, Pitino will remain at U of L trying to hang with Cal until they either force him out or carry him out in a body bag.

Hopefully from the syphilis.

I once had a quad espresso a few minutes after I took a Provigil. That was scary. I truly thought I was going to have a stroke or a heart attack. Doc can confirm, but I think Provigil marcus welby amphetamine. I stopped taking it because I easily could've gotten hooked. I loved it; I had a ton of energy and was hyper-productive at work. But, it was drug-induced, so I was uneasy about it. So, I went back to being a lazy underachiever. [thumb2]

'Tragic life of Robert Peace' is an excellent book. One of my favorites of the last few years. Especially if you're our age.

-Glorious weather out there today, folks. Shew.

-Welp Keeneland plans are out the window. Sash doesn't want to drop the kid off at her parent's all afternoon when she's been gone all week for business. Commendable, I guess. Told her that didn't mean I was laying up tomorrow and have been given the green light for pretty much anything I want at the 1 year old New CWS.

-Kiddo wearing a Vanderbilt t-shirt to school today.

-I'd like to get a pair of brown leather boots (not cowboy boots) but not coming up with anything. Any recs?

-Been told Pitino has more respect for Cal than folks realize. I guess his win-loss record would make that fairly obvious, but for his actual coaching acumen/X's and O's. I think he's got less than 5 years left.

-Nearly 2 years and settling in nicely at the new firm. Last year was pretty brutal, though. Dramatic dip in income (70%). Change from the world's largest CRE firm to a private shop. New culture to adapt to. Thought Sash was going to murder me. Won't be making a change again for a long time if I have say in it. F that noise.

-Thinking Old Fo for Dad tomorrow night.

-Chad really isn't making a game this fall, is he? SMGDH.

-55 days without a smoke. [thumb2]
