-We got them a nice wedding gift, but trust me, this couple is not worried about our gift. They're really laid back but it's a fancy deal.
-Had I been going with just WS I would have gone tux. Easily. But the two guy were going with were like, "HA, Hell no we're not wearing tuxedos are you f*cking kidding me?" Key was not rolling up in a sports coat, flashy tie, patterned shirt, ironic socks and loafers. Like I said from the beginning. Everyone is happy and I have a pallbearer suit finally so I can stop feeling weird every time I'm asked, which is really damn often.
-Schems are thoughtful people. We got tons of flaws but being great friends isn't one of them.
-Lol at Chadwick thinking he has total control over his girl's wedding. I mean you'll have input but if she wants a big deal wedding... that's what going down, papi. Considering our family is every bit as blue collar, salt of the earth, redneck as yours... they'll be fine if they need to throw on a suit and tie. Or they'll wear jeans and no one will give a touch. If we can get FCC's dad in a suit/tux anyone can.
-If I had it to do over, I'd go suits for the groomsmen and that would also be their wedding gifts. Only regret, although our wedding called for tuxedos. The custom bobble heads were pretty awesome I must say.

Local Raleigh sports talk voice/attorney/moralizer David Glenn had Tom Titty Fan on today and remarked quite a bit on the ludicrous financial aspect of UofL's athletic profit gains in recent years (after the fact because he's mostly spineless but still). Host is generally eye-roll worthy but I enjoyed his passive-aggressive logic pounding today.

Those are valid concerns, IMO. I don't think that those flaws will come to fruition but I can definitely see where they're coming from.

- An all black suit sounds like what I wore in middle school to confirmation or what we wore on game days dressing up before a basketball game.
Upstanding citizen, professional male suit options should be charcoal or navy based, or khaki in the summer for an outdoor function. IMO.
- Have been in 5-6 weddings over the last couple years, bought a tux as a group for the first wedding and have been rocking it for a few other wedding parties since. :fire::fire::fire:
Beats the hell out of renting one 3-4 time, and we got a nice group discount to boot.
- Was in another wedding this past weekend in Versailles while in town. Wore my first bow tie. Not the biggest fan, doesn't exactly suit my build. But I looked great anyway, so no worries.
Absolutely gorgeous Saturday, groom really missed the boat by not allowing us to sneak over to Keeneland while the girls "finished" getting ready for pictures for what seemed like hours.
- Sports gambol has really helped with me being away from the south and everyone who cares about college sports. At least I feel a little closer to all of my degenerate GYERO Gambol Syndicate.
- The political gambol scene is really intriguing. I can thank our twitter bookies for a few extra hundo on Crooked Hilary.
- Have official offers in Nashville and Lexington, though I think the Lexington job is going to be a pass. If Edgewood offers it'll be a difficult decision. Porch lights appreciated.
- Conference this weekend in Chicago...could be potential games 6 and 7 while there. Eeeeeeek. That city will be madness.
- Ran into Drew Franklin at Tin Roof last week when he had just gotten back from that Trump Rally. We have a few other mutual friends and chatted for a bit. Said they had some hilarious footage, and I just watched the Hey Kentucky segment. Just great folks up there. [laughing]

Shooting: Valid concern. Quite the concern. My hope is that passing and rebounding can win the day for us against zones.
Chemistry: TBD, but I doubt it. Typically Cal's most cohesive squads here have been the ones where the freshman guys were on board for a while, and if memory serves, that's what's happened with this freshman class. Plus there appears to be work ethic across the board.
Defense: I actually have a pretty good feeling about this one, you guys. Should be a pretty versatile group on that end of things. Briscoe's track record speaks for itself. Fox gets after it. If the reports are true, it sounds like Gabriel is ahead of the curve on that area due to motor/length and he can use those things to cover for mistakes.
My one other concern that wasn't mentioned in any of these previews was post play when Adebayo is out. I worry that he'll foul a lot and then there's a big drop.
